Just love how quiet it is when you move away from bank 😊 you have my dream boat 😊 price of a small two bedroom house no doubt but worth it I feel. Dexter pottering about more slowly than former years but he looks content and probably happier than if you in a big house and needed to leave him most of day to work full time to pay a mortgage.

Not a good place to lose concentration - in a lock! Our canopy frame is like yours and sticks out the back when not in use. In a lock we always lift it over our heads and have it facing forwards. Loved the video

Thanks for a lovely vlog, the places you get to moor up are astounding, you really can pick them. Shame about the pram frame but I am sure it would straighten out with the correct percussive maintenance tool ( hammer) after all, it was once a straight piece of bar. 🤗☮️

Hey Crichie. We really have been blessed with some beautiful moorings. Unfortunately, the bar had to be repurchased 😬. We attempted a rubber mallet and got it sort of straight but it needed to be precise for our new covers. All good now though. Hope you have a great weekend ♥️

Hey Philip. The gas bubble has completely dissolved in his eye. Wish we were sailing the med with all the rain we have had. Heidi changed her plans, 😢, we would have loved to cruise with her. 😂. I can’t help myself Kathy. It is all in good jest though. The gas bubble in Paul’s eye has completely gone now so fingers crossed his checkup is ok at the end of the month. The frame had to be replaced. Costly but if metal 😂. Definitely been trying to loose weight, 21ILBs so far. This boating life must be having a good effect on us both. Dexter is a sweet boy bless him. Hey Helen. Glad you enjoy. Dexter is such a gentle soul. Tumbled spuds is basically par boiled potatoes and then roughly mash (not to a smooth consistency) with plenty of pepper and a little salt. It sits on top of the mince like a cottage pie. People are so kind. Dexter loved his toy. Have a great weekend ❤️

Welcome home. We got back yesterday from our delayed Paris trip. Boating definitely is a great community. We love it. Paul now has a cough. I am great though. Off for a run later. I have really been trying to lose weight. Hard for me to tell if it is working. Paul has a checkup on his eye at the end of this month, so fingers crossed. Dexter is adorable and what an amazing age, we have a Springer Spaniel who is 14 years and 4 months. We have recently bought an Innopet Mamute dog stroller which folds down and is invaluable for when our George gets too tired. Maybe good for Dexter?

It is definitely getting there Heidi. Northern lights were incredible. Never thought we would see them from our boat. I most definitely did get my workout. It was back breaking. Dexter is the sweetest soul. He loved his new toy bless him. Loved the mooring, didn’t want to leave. We had a great time with friends. Have a fab week and take care ❤️

Beautiful scenery indeed so green... the locks looked really hard but oh Anthony I felt your sun burn tint i do hope you either had a tea bag soak or used aloe vera spray or cream to help sooth n bring down the heat..... Paul I hope your eye is healing well too.... you mentioned that you only show the good parts and not the tanties that you have perhaps a bloobers tantie session but it would tarnish your squeaky clean image 😂😋 cheers Debz from Oz

Hey Deborah. It was lush where we were. I did get burnt. I am usually good with sun protection. Paul’s eye is definitely getting better. I don’t think people want to hear us bickering. I do hope the pram cover was easily fixed too n not too costly but usually the little bumps are 🤔 I burn lots in the sun ☀️ n the Aussie sun can be sneaky you just don’t feel the humidity n before I know it I’m beetroot colour my kids said when they were young my legs were beacons on the beach 🏖️ lol see me coming for miles the kids as little ones were luckily as they had darker skin as they’ve got older they too (all but one) have become beacons too 😂 enjoy your summer - it’s winter here n very wet n cold but where I’m at there’s no chance of snow just winds that whip thru you from the coast as I’m only a few miles from the beach cheers Debz

Wow the lights, amazing. It’s 1 degree here in Dartmoor, Victoria as I write, just went and “put another log on the fire” and here you guys are in T-shirts, but I love the cold. I couldn’t walk across the lock gates like that, it’s way to high for me, I don’t do heights, I’m grateful I’m only 5’ 2” if I was any taller I’d have to crawl as it would be to high for me. LOL. This is a very pretty trip, I’m loving what you’re doing. I reckon Heidi would be a fun person to travel with. Oh hell no the frame. Great trip, stay safe guys and huge cuddles to our beautiful Dex, love you sweetie. 🥰

Hey Pauline. I have to admit, I prefer to be cold that hot. The weather has recently changed and we seem to be getting lots of rain. Ironically , Paul is 6’ and hates heights 😂. We have travelled with Heidi before and had a great time. The frame was a costly mistake. 😬. Hope you have a lovely week ❤️

I think I told you, but hell I’d not expect you to remember with all the posts you get, we ran out of water in our tank a few weeks ago, just so little rain; all the farmers (cattle) are saying they have never seen it so dry, it’s costing them a fortune getting hay brought in so we’d be grateful for some of your rain. Hey Morten. It was back breaking. Was so glad when we got to the top. Consumption is loads better. I reckon we are probably on par to the last boat given we don’t cook with gas. The pram cover was costly to sort. All done though thankfully. Have a lovely week too ❤️

Ouch, your poor frame. Hope you could get it fixed ok. Just lost my favourite windlass to the canal sprites today and that was bad enough. Those locks are hard work though we found many of the L and L locks were. Love the lady photobomber at the last lock lol.

I know! It was an expensive fix 🙄. Fingers crossed not lost a windlass yet. It is gutting isn’t it? They really were hard work, we forgot how difficult the L and L can be. 😂, I would have photo bombed too. Have a great week ❤️

After all the work he did, Anthony needs a much-needed vacation as we call it here in the States. Those locks are massive! Both of you get better from the surgery and respiratory problems. I live in Washington State on the eastern side and we've had a lot of wind and having asthma and allergies make it worse. Today, I feel like I have a head cold!
