Dexter will always be in our hearts as are both of you. I think the underside of those bridges look like Star Wars sets too Paul. The countryside on this trip was glorious I will have to take a train up to that area when I am back in the UK. My new passport and my old one newly canceled, is heading back to me now in the US and then I can make plans to come and visit my children and grandkids, hoora!😊 Have a wonderful week both of you and I hope the sun shines.

It's not dark as late which is terrible because I have night blindness. It was also very cool for a few days, but has warmed up again. I love the changing scenery from industrial past to urban terraced houses to open countryside. Makes me want to get the camper van out again and do a spot of touring. I love Paul’s artwork. Very talented. Although it looks like Anthony’s cooking takes some beating.

I really enjoyed the video, beautiful scenery and gorgeous sunsets, it’s great how much you’ve raised in Dexters memory. I love foxes, your fox is lovely Paul👍🏼 Anthony you’ll have to put out a cook book , you’re always making something yummy looking, the pasta sauce looked interesting. My weeks been boring, it’s been sunny and warm mostly, the hurricane veer off over the ocean so we just had a couple days rain last weekend. It’s birthday season ( grandson Hudson, son in law Jason and daughter Heather) all in a 2 week period. Grandson got a Lego set from Harry Potter that was different spiders in the woods one of which was quite large. After Hud had gone to bed the large one was on the coffee table and I noticed one of the cats sneaking up on it, like it might attack her at any moment, she finally got close and smacked it several times with her paw. You had to be there but it was sooo funny to see her think that big spider might be real. I laughed so much. It’s back to school soon so time to get supplies, new shoes and clothes getting everything ready so a busy time. Hudson has grown 3 inches in the last 4 months so will have to have all his pants altered so they aren’t too short. So that’s my boring week ahead, I’m sure you’re hardly interested in all that. Lovely views and scenery on a nice summer cruise, especially the drone shots. Not sure about all that duckweed, guess the weed hatch would have been full. It was a fab mooring Susan. The duckweed ended up clogging the generator! I said to Paul we should leave him in. We do miss him to much. Have a good weekend. ❤️

Didn't think that wide beam was going to stop. It just dawned on me, what your living wall with the plants brought me in mind of.Some of the lock gates that have plants growing on them, or it just me.

Thanks Eric. We were with Heidi last night. She came round to the boat for a meal and drinks. We had a lovely time. I still say the fox is one of my favourite drawings Paul has done. Feels like you could stroke the fur. When the prop has some rubbish on it, reverse can sometimes help clear, but with so much round it, it doesn’t help. It is a shame so much rubbish was in the canal as the area was beautiful. Looking forward to the next panting walk 😂. Have a good weekend ❤️

So now you know it wasn't Dexter that was causing walks to be slow - it was Paul. Poor Dexter taking the blame! My wife complains I walk too fast and says it is easy for me because I am so much taller than she is. I still work and she goes walking and cycling a lot more than I have time to do to, yet the long legs make the pace.

From what I've seen of Anthony's cooking, I would definitely have to go out for long walks as well from the weight I would put on. It always looks so good. lol.... Also I was curious about your Star Link, we used to have satellite TV and we would lose signal in bad weather, and I was curious if you have the same problem with satellite internet as well. Hey Roger. Aww thank you. I do love cooking. The Starlink has been great. We haven’t had much issue unless we moor under a tree. I guess a lot of the canal is sheltered. I remember the issues with satellite TV too but we don’t seem to have the same problem with this. Hope you have a lovely weekend ❤️

What a great cruise, that sunset was stunning. Anthony the chicken and noodles looks right tasty. Keep going on the health kick. Paul, when you had surgery for the detached retina, was your told you would develop a cataract after surgery a few months down the line? I was and have now got one which will have to be removed at a later date. Take care guys. x

Burnley does look to be a pretty and quiet place to rest or go for walks in the evening. It will be Spring here on September 1 and with the warmer weather I hope to go for walks especially when daylight saving begins in October.

Hello Paul and Anthony, It was very interesting watching Paul open the weed hatch, do a check and close the weed hatch again. I have seen other videos where people hammer the weed hatch secure top bar tightly closed. Paul did it hand tight, which is obviously OK to do on your boat, so is this a new design? Lovely looking Marina. When you set off and going around a blind corner, I was a tad confused. You appeared to be on the wrong side of the canal going forward, and you only beeped your horn after you saw the wide beam boat come into view right in front of you. The wide beam stopped but you carried on going? Had the wide beam carried on going it looked like there could have been a collission as your stern was still on the wrong side of the canal during the manouver. Just an observation as you are normally well ahead of the game coming up to such corners. I have to say, Anthony runs an amazing Galley. Paul is a very lucky man. Loved the end scene with the four of you sat on the tow path having a drink. How wonderful was that. Than you again for another amazing and entertaining Vlog. Take care. Spoolbox.

Hey Spoolbox. I don’t think it a new design but rather the mechanism is easier to tighten because it is newer. We always try and position ourselves to see the best view of the canal. It may appear to be on the wrong side but it is similar to when I did my advanced motorcycle training. We beeped as soon as we saw the widebeam. I guess if everyone is going at a reasonably speed, corrective action can be made before a collision. I am biased but Paul is very lucky 😂. Hope you have a fab weekend ❤️

Not too bad to be honest. We were told that if we set up a mesh system and connect to a different router we may be able to reduce consumption further. It has been amazing. Have a great week ❤️
