NaruSaku 💔🍥🌸❤❤ The more I watch these videos the more I am convinced of how stupid the author was to give so much development to this couple and then not even get them together at the end. All of Naruto's history hints that the two would eventually end up together (including parallels and symbolism), too many clues had been left behind to lead one to believe otherwise. Real development, gradual evolution of feelings, many moments together and for what in the end? nothing, all thrown away due to stupid fanservice and idolatry towards a secondary character. Naruto's feelings mocked as a silly rivalry with Sasuke, Sakura's development as a character regressed to the last to a 12-year-old fangirl grappling with her first teenage crushes, sending totally wrong moral messages. The end of Naruto will always remain one of the biggest disappointments in the history of anime, I don't care about canon couples (they can live on novels and idealized loves) for me the only real couple will always be Naruto and Sakura

Yes, so many hints and build up. I still remember that scene when Sai asks Naruto why he didn't tell Sakura his feelings and Naruto felt as if he couldn't yet because at that point he hadn't kept his promise he made to her (bringing Sasuke back). You would think this moment would have resolution when Sasuke did eventually return, but nope. It's forgotten, Naruto is made to suddenly not have any feelings for Sakura (despite literally telling his reanimated father on the battlefield that Sakura was kind of his girlfriend!) and fall in love with a character he barely interacted with or expressed any romantic feelings at all. I think Kishi caved to the pressure of Hinata's popularity and sequel bait with pairing every single character up. I often forget about the canon pairings of Naruto, I don't follow it or watch anything about it, I don't know what's going on and I don't care either. It's like good riddance.

@@AnbuPrincess Exactly. The story implied that Naruto would confess to Sakura at the end after she brought Sasuke back. Sakura would find out that he was the guy who complimented her forehead and like in the case of MinaKushi she would fall in love with him. Even the moment of the confession from Sakura to Naruto was not false and Kishimoto himself has clarified it several times. His still unresolved feelings for Sasuke don't erase his towards Naruto who were much stronger and more real, the lie was to say he no longer loves Sasuke and that he doesn't care about him anymore and since Naruto knows her well he knows that behind his words is hiding something that does not want to tell him. Same with chapter 662 titled "the real end" where we see the clear parallelism NS and SK. Regarding the popularity and heroine status yes, there are the interviews, it is a fact that he had thought of the NS but due to the popularity of Hinata, the continuous hatred towards Sakura and the pressure from her publishers Kishi has changed his plans. Regarding Boruto and the sequel, I don't even follow anything, the characters are no longer the same and none of them are really happy with their marriage. The novels are not enough to justify the development of a ship, that task was exclusively the original manga

narusaku is such a romantic love story...from sakura "loving" sasuke only for his coolness n ignoring naruto, to understanding n feeling deeply for naruto's hard life, even tho it seems tht sakura hasnt truly loved him, she unconsciously showed her feelings by being protective of him always...she cried so hard for naruto when he seemed to be dying n was so happy when hes alive...its beautiful

Damn... I can remember the time when Shippuden had just come out and those NaruSaku moments were building. It made me so happy because I thought the story was going in a whole new direction where the characters mature and figure out their feelings... but then after the Pain arc everything just went further downhill... It still makes me so sad that all that character development got literally tossed in the garbage bin because of fan demand.

Yep, and it's a damn shame. There was also foreshadowing that went nowhere like Naruto telling Sai why he's holding back on his confession to Sakura or him just outright telling Minato that Sakura is his girlfriend. Don't know what the hell Kishi's problem was when it came to Sakura but I'm glad to have moved on to other media with authors that do respect their heroine and not allow themselves to get bullied by incels on the Internet to change course.

After seeing what Kishi did to the 'canon' ships. It's almost a bit thankful that NaruSaku was spared. We can definitely say we got the better end of the deal in that regard. NaruSaku will remain untouched and tainted by Kishi who's crappy at romantic relationships and left in the hands of fans who actually care about the characters of Naruto and Sakura and the bond of their relationship. Fanfiction nowadays is looking ten times better than any 'canon' Kishi has created.

Nice video.. just dawn on me on Naruto he left the village to forget her.. on Shippuden he got married to someone else to forget her.. Doubt he has not forgotten her.. Everytime I try to take Boruto seriously it just feels like an alternate world where no one is really happy but everyone is just getting by. I know that is adulthood for a lot of people, but it never has to be, especially not in a fictional world, one no less where Naruto had achieved all his dreams. All but one that is. No doubt, Naruto and Sakura being an ending together would have been a really happy and momentus thing, and you would feel the love well after the series ended

Hey there! While I've largely moved on from any of the official Naruto stuff I've been having my fun writing my own fanfic as well. It's a bit relieving in a way being able to correct some things I felt were developed poorly. The world and concepts are very fun to write and play around with and come up with new stuff. In the end I think even if NaruSaku was canon, Kishi would have found some way to screw it up, so I think we've been sparred in that regard.

Exactly. Kishi literally had to retcon NaruSaku and pretend its development was simply years of a red herring just for NaruHina happening in the end to make even a lick of sense along with putting out a bunch of interviews for damage control justifying that NaruHina was always planned from the beginning. Yeah highly doubt especially since he forgot to give the kids Byakugan and Boruto has a flower hair design and wore pink on his jacket. But whatever. They are really, really strong, I just don't shipo so much because I really think people mesh about Naruto's feelings for him, for me the innocence of Naruto and the affection he has for Sasuke is a huge admiration for having always saved Naruto, and Sasuke are very skilled, Naruto often tries to imitate him and gain his recognition whenever Sasuke calls him a weaker,this is very much a little brother thing and I know that because I already heard my little brother say those same words about the older, I think instead of saying 'you are my friend' Naruto always wanted saying "you are my brother" i think i just never said it because this is a delicate question for sasuke, but he certainly wanted them to be like Killer B and A. raikage But Sasuke is a little strange to me it is undeniable that his feelings by naruto are stronger than by sakura or any other living person and the way he shows this affection at important times is something he doesn't do for almost anyone but despite that he never saw naruto as a brother, sometimes I think he could like Naruto in a way other than just friendship, but in fact the two together would make more sense than these horrible couples, sasusaku is shameful
