I agree, but there's no need to attribute sexual attraction to their extremely complex relationship. They undoubtedly do have the most layered bond, but quite frankly, simplifying that bond by saying "they're gay" is downright insulting to many people. Greatest Manga Chapter of the year and one of the most iconic panels of all time with Naruto & Sasuke's symbolic reconciliation by blood from their dismembered hands. Exquisite use of imagery and deep underlying themes accentuated by methodical writing. My hats off to Masashi Kishimoto for ending the Naruto Series with a *BANG!* As a long-time fan, I could not ask for a better finale.

Naruto will be the first series that I followed on a weekly basis to end. Every other series that I've read like FMA, Yu Yu Hakusho, etc. were already completed series when I started reading and I finished them all in just one shot within one or two weeks. But Naruto is the first series that I started following on a week by week basis... Initially I used to read each chapter on OneManga on Fridays and then moved on to MangaReader and MangaPanda on Wednesdays, when OneManga was taken down. After each chapter, I used to watch Sawyer's and ForneverWorld's review of each chapter and that had become a tradition for me. Now that the series is ending, I am feeling lost... completely overwhelmed with nostalgia and sadness. I have no idea about what I'll do without my weekly tradition of reading a manga + watching the review. One Piece is great and all, but it never stuck to me like Naruto did. RIP to one of the greatest series ever made, and to be honest, the series that got me into Anime in the first place.

Its so Ironic that both of them lost their one of their arms. Really hit hard because I thought about the moments when they both fought used to fight, they would shake hand each hands. The same hand was used during their childhood. Then during the fight before Shippuuden the two hands let go of each other, then the clash in Shippuuden after the Kage's Summit and now...The had a clash like Sawyer mentioned from the Heavens and the Earth which is also kinda symbolic but then they both lose their hands. I think the last part gives me this idea that their bond reformed with their blood was connected. Meaning that their bond was always unbreakable even if they weren't blood brothers, Naruto always referred to Sasuke as a brother. Also appreciated the fact that Sasuke acknowledged his mistake. Great chapter indeed!

mauri9998 Before going on KZbin, I reread chapter 692, and the Sage does in fact say "putting together their seals". I can't imagine how Kishi will work out this one. Maybe Sakura will reattach their arms with the seals, and before bandaging them up, the last thing they will do with them is dispel the Infinite Tsukuyomi :)

An intresting part about this chapter was that sasukes reaction/realization after the fight was the exact opposite of Madara's. Sasukes clearly changed for the better and admitted he was wrong/lost, where as madara even after his plan failed, being used by black zetsu, and slowly dying again he still refused to change or accept that he was wrong in any way. Madara bascially was like "Fuck all you I wasn't wrong" before dying.

Ima NiiNjuH Eeh.. Sakura isn't really that strong. She can heal things and punch things really hard. She can also summon Katsuyu, but Katsuyu is suited to healing, not combat. I'll give Sakura that she is the White Mage of the Konoha 11, but I was going for combat. I almost wanted to say Lee before, but Lee ends up doing a lot of damage to himself when he uses his strongest attacks, so all his powerful jutsu are of one-offs. That and he is probably the least level-headed of anybody among the Konoha 11 aside from Naruto. Its a similar situation for Choji, because he is similarly powerful but his jutsu are also one-off because once he consumes his body fat, its done until he can restore it. If anything, I take back saying Shino was the strongest and I am going more for Shikamaru now. Shikamaru and Shino both have some powerful jutsu under their belts, so then it just comes down to who is the better tactician, which is Shikamaru hands down.

So gratifying and interesting to finally get to see Sasuke's PoV and to have him openly admit his own insecurities and that he was actually not only a bit jealous of Naruto but recognized that Naruto had a strength he knew he didn't. Every single time they interact or one thinks of the other (which has someone counted or have a compilation of all the 'moment's ?) I'm reminded of the fact that no other character interaction compares in depth of feeling and importance. I do wish Kishi could have 'sealed the deal' and just 'came out' with them being in love with each other. Would be a breath of fresh air for the genre and think the manga reading population on the whole is at least on the brink of being ready for such a (oh my... scandalous ;p) story reality.

It's obviously a reason why gay jokes about Naruto and Sasuke are something common in the Naruto fandom, making jokes about them being gay means that you acknowledge the homosexual hints about them in the series. If it weren't anything "gay" about them, then why would so many gay jokes circle around them? They have several times showed feelings for each other deeper than ordinary friendship, Kishimoto have never officially stated their sexuality so the hints should be taken seriously. To assume that they are straight just because being straight is the "norm" is kinda like saying that you view homosexuality as a joke. You don't have to believe they are gay/bi (or ship it) but don't treat the sasunaru/narusasu pairing a joke just because it isn't a straight pairing. This pairing has a lot more evidence/hints than some of the straight Naruto pairings. Kishimito have himself stated that he have taken the pairing in consideration and if enough people would want to, he would make it official

_Welp, this was actually an emotional manga, and though I am not a fan of Sasuke, seeing how he opened up to Naruto really makes you relive the whole franchise. This, in all reality, was Sasuke's chapter, and the fucker shined. The fact that he admitted defeat to Naruto, and that he acknowledged him makes his character seem more human, almost like this was a redemption story for Sasuke. The moment they started talking, I knew that the ending was coming; reading through the panels of memory that Sasuke was stating, how he envied Naruto, and saw him and the other members of Team 7 as family, really chokes a dude. The fact that Kishi brought all of that full circle actually made for a very enjoyable chapter. But one last thing that Kishi has to clear up; Now that we see how Sasuke felt about Naruto and Team 7, does that mean that he also had formed a romantic bond with Sakura, or does he still find her annoying. Also, How will Naruto's relationship with Hinata end up? We get a glimps of the cover where they are both walking and I do hope that that states that he does fall in love with her. Anyways, Fuck you, Sasuke, for making me get choked up. I may not like you, but props are due to you, the last Uchiha!_

This is pretty random, but does anyone agree with me in this? I honestly think that Hinata should have taken the place of Sakura as the main female character. It can show the more political side of Konoha by showing the interactions of Hyuuga and Uchiha, we could see more of the minor characters like Neji, Tenten, and Lee, I think Hinata and Sasuke have a lot in common (both looked at Naruto for strength, both had very strict fathers and were the children of the head of their respectful clans) so a brother/sister bond could have formed between them, and then she can get with Naruto in the end. Also one of the final bosses had the byakuugan so we could see Hinata's jutsu vs Kaguya's jutsu.... not sure if she would be strong enough to do much but it's just a thought. :)

This is what I think is gonna happen to get their arms back: 1. Sakura summons katsuyu and reattach both their arms like how tsunade reattached her lower body. (Assuming their arms didn't get blown to pieces.) 2. Kankuro attach puppets arms for them. 3. Remember how pain repaired one of the pain's body? Maybe sasuke can summon that and repair both of their arms by borrowing naruto's other hand to do the hand seal just like how obito borrowed kakashi's hand to do a jutsu during their fight. 4. Unlikely but... Maybe they could attach zetsu's arm like how obito did. I'm going to go with sakura attaching their arms by using katsuyu, it would be more logical to me that way but it would be less shocking that way. What do you think orochimaru is going to do now? I know naruto is going to end next week but don't you think this is the perfect opportunity for orochimaru to try and steal sasuke's body while he is so weak? I still don't trust that guy.

what about Naruto's new found healing ability, the one he used to give Kakashi back his eye. I mean it was never really explained that well so him regaining his chakra and regenerating their arms wouldn't be that much off a stretch for that ability.

kayman trotter The sun tattoo is necessary for him to use that healing technique, and that tattoo was on his right arm. So i highly doubt he can use it again, besides even if he can use it on the other hand i doubt there's anymore chakra left from the sage of six paths. We don't know for sure if the sage of six path's chakra still remains in naruto. If it does, don't you think it will be too op? It's as if he turned into a god permanently. I think this story has too many power up ass pull from kishimoto so i don't think that power is necessary anymore since kaguya is gone.
