The amount of speed and power that Lee has is almost unreal! It really is hard to believe that someone could have that level of physical strength and speed in this show!

Yeah I really love the fact that ninjas in general already possess way more physical strength and speed than an ordinary person (remember back in the Land of Waves arc, Naruto by himself was able to beat two thugs who were way taller than him easily). So someone like Lee who trained that aspect above and beyond makes him borderline superhuman

It also depends a lot on the level of strength and base speed, because "the 8 internal gates" only amplify what the person already has, for example it is not the same to open the 5th gate of the naruto lee to that of the shippuden lee, read from the beginning of the fight use the 1st gate, that's why so much physical wear and tear

Kishimoto created some amazing secondary characters...he didn´t know how to exploit that...just my opinion...

Kakashi and Sakura were hanging around due to the Team 7 connection ... all other characters were having their splashes of screen time, chance to show their abilities and then pretty much dissapear forever. Team Might Guy could easily be secondary protagonists, if properly written, but then they would took Naruto's spotlight and after Sasuke rescue mission, he simply got rid off them ... only Guy received respect he deserved.
