4:45 Haku actually was originally a girl, but editors didn't like little girl traveling with a stranger grown man, especially with their semi-romantic relationship. It wasn't even 2000s, so you have to understand that. But apparently Haku being a boy and being fully gay for Zabuza was ok... Oh well.

The naruto/shippuden dub is definitely enjoyable, one of the better dubs of an anime. So if you watch it dubbed it will be fine, but I’d still recommend sub especially for a first time watch.

I like to watch a switch between dub and sub, even for a first time watch. It’s fun to see the switch between the general vibe and VAs, especially on the (kinda) irrelevant fillers.

I would definitely recommend watching it in sub. In my opinion I think the messages that the creators are trying to give have more meaning in Japanese. There were a few scenes that I watched in sub and in dub and it felt like the sub hit me more emotionally. :)

The whole of Naruto/Naruto Shippuden is better in sub, the only thing I would want him to react to in dub is the Pain's speech about the circle of hatred, sub is still amazing but the dub speech is a bit better.

naruto is one of those shows that you can watch in either dub or sub and not harm your enjoyment. incredible dub in my opinion and many others

I think it would be better to watch og Naruto again, because when youre younger, you dont understand many things that are a bit darker. But I can understand if you dont want to. But if you decide not to rewatch it, you should at least watch the Naruto vs. Sasuke fight again, because its fantastic and sets you up for Shippuden.

You should definitely react to the rock lee v gara fight ( the most iconic battle in anime history) and the naruto v sasuke fight before watching shippuden

Not even the most iconic battle in Naruto, that would go to either Naruto vs Sasuke fight, even Naruto vs Pain or Sasuke vs Itachi would be better contenders than the ones between 2 side characters. It's only iconic bc it was one of the first good fights, once you pass 100 eps it falls short.
