Aesthetic Bubblie Madara fireball isn’t really a fireball at all, more like a tsunami of fire which took dozens of water style jutsu to balance. Naruto was able to create rasenshuriken in couple of weeks because he can clone himself a thousand times. Multiply that time to a thousand then you get the idea of how much time a normal person need to create it. Minato couldn’t do it, Kakashi couldn’t do it and he expected 14-16 years Naruto should’ve known the rasenshuriken before shippuuden -_-

I would’ve put zabuzas mist Jutsu up to “A”. For me it was like a perfect, quintessential ninja move. So many moves in naruto are just crazy super-hero type powers that don’t seem very ninja-like. Hidden mist jutsu just seemed like the most “ninja” move with how it is used to disappear and assassinate. Made me think all Jonin would be crazy assassins.

Boiling Pot, Yeah but I’m saying it’s kind of like fire jutsu in Naruto they should be threatening, but they always seem to be negated in some way. Itachi just negated Kirin with the Yata Mirror (or base Susanoo depending on interpretation). Itachi did basically admit he would have died to it without using the Yata Mirror/Susanoo, but that doesn’t change the fact he did. Naruto straight up just tanked it in the anime. Like, it stunned him like a god damn joy buzzer would stun a normal person. (Also when I say fire jutsu I am NOT counting Amaterasu as Sasuke classified that as a separate nature release i.e. Enton/Inferno Syle)

I spent the whole series trying to figure out the logic in substitution jutsu. If someone is fast enough to find themselves a log and place it where they were, why couldn't they just dodge it? What's with the extra step of finding and placing a log there. Also did a shuriken or kunai ever really pose a threat when when everyone is fast enough to look for a log, go back to where they were and place it there before the shuriken ever hit them?

I thought Jugo’s clan-senjutsu was pretty interesting. Anyone without the fluids they produce will die taking in as much natural chakra as they do, but instead of dying, they look like monsters and go crazy. And the Curse Mark is a cool way to contextualize and dignify Sage Transformation, while also making something iconic AND giving it a heavy risk.

My reasoning for the big rasengan is it’s supposed to be condensed so small that the chakra is effectively a super dense ball of death. Meanwhile, using bigger rasengans are taking up absurd amounts more of Chakara cause it still has to be the same density, but WAY larger too. (Also having precise control of that much more Chakra has to be intense.)

The empty gedo statue binding tailed beast to it is a really difficult process that takes a lot of chakra to do. I think someone needs to use a fuck ton of chakra to operate the statue initially because it’s the empty body of the 10 tails and it needs a fuck ton of chakra to do things. After a bunch of tailed beasts were bound and absorbed, Obito had access to the statue with a fuck ton of tailed beast chakra inside it, which made moving and operating it easier, also hashirama cells.

Obviously a genius like sasuke in combination with sharingan made for a cool rehash of Lee's taijutsu. But it just impresses me a bit more to see a complete dumbass (Naruto) use a jonin level A rank ninjutsu in combination with lee and sasuke's moves. And Naruto didn't even meed sharingan. I do, however, respect your opinion to like sasuke's more (after all it is just a manga)

Yeah, regrettably I'm pretty sure Kishi forgot the whole "striking your organs directly" portion of the Gentle Fist. Since the 64 Palms closes all of one's chakra points, Naruto effectively had *all* of his organs absolutely beaten to shit by Neji. Byakugan is much like the "hard work overcomes natural talent" moral. You might have the Byakugan but you still have to know how to utilize its power. Meanwhile, the Sharingan just becomes like a Curse Mark. It seems to all be based on the users' own chakra and grants them whatever the hell they want as an ability. The fact that each Sharingan gives a different power is fucked. And then we get Rinnegan which is an entirely different argument.
