long story but puns would more sense in japanese. Naruto catchphrase has no meaning in english so they just had him say believe it. Naruto (in japanese) says Dattebayo while Kushina say ""(da)ttebayo"" so it makes more sense in japanese. but both terms don't translate well so we are stuck with this.

first of all it wasn't Minato who ruined naruto life it was obito, Danzo and the villagers who ruined his childhood. first of all obito is the 1 who attacked the hidden leaf with the 9 tails all for his plan for making a make belive fantasy world. I don't care what anyone says the main reason obito did this is because rin died and he couldn't deal with her loss so he decided to take it out on the world. he's the one that started this shit as well as turning the once good akastaki who were trying to make the world a better place ad end the war until obito showed up and turned it into a criminal organization to capture tail beast. next is Danzo he ruined naruto's life by convincing everyone else that naruto was the one to blame for their dead love ones lives just so he could get at the 3rd hokage and steal his spot. he started rumors and worked underground behind 3rd's back he's also the one who stole shisiui eye and forced itachi to kill his own clan. even obito played a part in this too fuck both of them. and finally the villagers they are the biggest bunch of pricks I have ever seen. grown adults making fun of a little orphan kid who has it rough because his parents are dead fucking ridiculous and sick. Minato died wishing that his son be held as a hero for taking the 9 tails in and instead of the villagers honoring his last request they did the fucking opposite and made his son an outcast which is really fucked up! but yeah Minato didn't ruin naruto's life he entrusted his son with the responsibility of stopping obito and ridding the world of evil and hatred and war. he died knowing his son would carrying on his wishes. he put his faith in his son because he loved him.
