When she finally gets to a notable level, it's still nothing compared to her two teammates, and it doesn't change how dumb she was throughout the show. Constantly whining, berating people, getting angry over the smallest things, or drooling over Sasuke. She's an awful person, who coasts on being one of the main three. She may have gotten better around the end of the show, but that's still hundreds of episodes of her either crying for Sasuke, insulting Naruto, or being a waste of screen time.

You guys should've had watched the ending credits scene though, since it makes the whole story between Naruto and Hinata more impactful and gives you a perfect foreshadow of Boruto. It was the perfect way to see what the love between Naruto and Hinata have accomplished, which is getting married and having children. It's actually also the only footage there is from Naruto and Hinata's wedding. You guys would've have gotten a glimpse of the future and the first ever introduction of Boruto in the anime even though he only appears in like 5 seconds or something. Nothing would've had been spoiled, since you guys already knew of Boruto before. The footage only reveals Boruto and the fact that he exists only, but it doesn't introduce his character at all, and also those footages takes place way before the start of the Boruto series. Like they do not appear in the Boruto series at all. The ending credits were literally intended to foreshadow the future and be watched before the final episodes of Naruto and before the start of Boruto. The ending credits footage does not introduce the "Boruto character". It was only meant to show the viewers that Naruto and Hinata have gotten married and that they have had children. Now it won't have the same effect, since you guys skipped it sadly. Too bad for y'all. You can also watch the ending credit and the post credit scene after the final episode of Naruto (episode 500) if you guys wanna go chronologically. But then again, it won't have the same effect, since those scenes were meant to be watched right after the movie and foreshadow the future. In short, you guys just skipped some extra canon material that only appears in the credits of this film and nowhere else in the whole franchise

Fun fact! In the manga, Kishimoto intended for Chakra to have a different colour depending on who you were. Even Naruto when he was trying to understand the 9-tails chakra, he describes his own chakra as yellow. in fact his exact words were "...i do remember that it felt different from the chakra that i usually manipulate. It's hard to describe but...if i think about it as colors, if my usual chakra is yellow, this one was red or something like that". Later on when they were adapting the manga into anime, they just scrapped the idea and made all chakra blue. But during this movie, they seemed to have brought back the original concept that Kishimoto had regarding chakra and colours
