You can also assume he just bluffed or too boastfull when talking to naruto, since there is not much shown of him "doing" something, rather just observing, apart from changing uchiha stone. jiraiyas death is even more impactful when you realize it’s the first time naruto actually understood sasukes pain of having someone you love and then losing them. understanding each others pain became such a big part of naruto’s eventual goal as hokage- sasuke said naruto could never understand him because he was alone from the beginning.. but after jiraiyas death naruto starts to actually understand the pain sasuke had been feeling. it probably drove him to become stronger more than any other event in naruto’s life 🥲

I think why Jiraiya's death stuck with me so much was not so much through the anime or manga but through the Ultimate Ninja Storm 2 depection of the scene. The Music, the way the scene was shot, and just Jiraya going for one last Big Rasengan that lead to taking out a single Pain. Its very over the top but i think it does a good showcasing the Will and Guts that both Jiraiya and Naruto are all about.

bro Jiraiya's death legit felt like a dark cloud loomed over me we were introduced to this character very early on in the series and got to see a lot of him while he was a powerful ninja he was also a lovable goof now we're at a point in the series where we'll never see that goof ever again it just won't be the same without him plus yea Naruto's reaction to Jiraiya's death was heart wrenching it was his lowest moment it took his father figure (iruka) and a friend who knew what he was going through (shikamaru) to finally snap him out of his depression

There’s a certain point where something is so significant that it transcends its own series. If somebody did top 10 deaths across ALL anime, 3 of them are just Naruto which is one animanga out of millions, and there’s not a single person who can dispute that. @beatlemania8945Ай бұрын
Personally, I find Itachi's second death sadder than the first. After being reanimated, he goes on to find out that his brilliant plan regarding Sasuke had pretty much backfired and he ultimately realizes why. After recognizing his own failure, he manages to impart crucial advice to Naruto about the dangers of trying to carry the weight of the whole world entirely on his own shoulders just because he thinks he's strong enough to. Along with this advice, he entrusts Naruto to do what he failed to do in saving Sasuke and Naruto took this resolution to heart (which is probably what really got me teary eyed). And of course, his last words to his brother. By this point, even though Sasuke had gotten himself new eyes, he was still as blind as ever. Itachi sees firsthand the dark path that he (unintentionally or otherwise) set Sasuke on. Despite that (and I'm assuming with help from Naruto), Itachi doesn't lament this. He reflects on and accepts his failure, ultimately correcting it when he leaves Sasuke with the final words he needed to hear most (which also got me teary eyed). And this would set Sasuke on a new path to try finding his own answer on how to resolve the turmoil of the Shinobi World. So, whereas Itachi's first death would set the stage for some more destruction, his second death, however tragic, manages to leave hope for a brighter future. Side note, if I had to swap out any death on this list, I would probably swap Kakashi's sort of death in the Pain arc with Madara's final death. Like Obito, he has to swallow the bitter pill that all of his efforts to achieve his dream were ultimately for nothing while Hashirama's dream still lived on. Despite that, the two fallen friends are able to leave on a much better note this time around and with a message of understanding. Something they failed to do in their previous lives. And with this, Madara, the old Uchiha Ghost, finally lets himself rest.

Here's a thought, the 5 worst deaths imo lmk what yall think 5. Hashirama, man was basically unkillable and his very important death happened offscreen entirely, not even a flashback. Like he was gonna die eventually but bro took on a Susanoo clad Nine Tails and STILL won, but his death wasn't important enough to show? Aight 4. Orochimaru (Itachi Fight), yknow, Mr. Evil the Person's death literally winds up being meaningless because Sasuke made some sort of senjutsu clone that wasn't even him using a different person's curse mark so Oro could use a mcguffin just so Kishimoto could bring back the Hokage, so his death or sealing that should have been a major win for all of ninja kind was made worthless 3. Kakuzu, of all of the Akatsuki, none of them were as disrespected as he was when he died. Deidara and Sasori both died on a whim but at least their fights and most of the other Akatsuki had very high stakes or dangerous feeling atmosphere around them. naruto pulling up to one of Kakashi's most "Oh he might actually die here" moments and dissolving all of the tension made me not even care about the rasenshuriken the more i thought about it. Once Naruto and Yamato and Sakura pulled up we knew it was wraps for Kakuzu 2. Neji, basically invalidates Naruto shifting his world view in Part 1 and they definitely could have found a better way to have him die especially because the whole Naruhina subplot was just done so poorly. Like we have more thoroughly documented accounts of Sakura curving Naruto than we do of Hinata and him even having meaningful conversation 1. Madara's 3rd death (4th War) "Kaguya's will" We all know this one is the worst
