Danzo maybe evil and twisted, but he's still one of the most unique characters in "Naruto", there's no current Konoha without him.

Karin controls who gets healed when they bite her. Not just anyone can bite her and gain chakra or heal if she doesn’t allow them to.

That's untrue, Karin had no control over her healing, anyone who bite her can suck her life-force/chakra. She was abused and raped at a young age because her sole purpose was to heal people. If she had to allow them to heal, because i'm pretty sure she didn't wanted to, she wouldn't be as useful and would be killed.

This is why I like the base Sharingan, Sasuke tricked Danzo with a basic genjutsu and that evil look Sasuke makes right before stabbing Danzo never gets old. Obito looks like he got off from seeing someone get pierced through if you know what I mean lol

Danzo is one of my favorite characters, he a nationalist who only cares about the leaf but like all men.. he is flawed. I wished the show dived deeper into the foundation and the unkown ninjas who sacrificed themselves for their village 🔥🙌😤

He specialized Shadow Clones to counter their Genjutsu and ofc the Flying Thunder God to counter their copying movement. But in the end my man really just wanted to establish order and peace for the village...

Sasuke vs Danzo is a great example of how to make the audience support a polarizing character like Sasuke; put him up against the most horrible, self-righteous, and selfish person you can possibly imagine. Danzo is a masterclass in how to write a hateable character

Love that the bottom two in the right (almost) feeling bad for Danzo, I also love that the show showed us this so that we can for the first and last time see he actually has a human side to him as well. Tho methods were incredibly questionable to say the least, he did everything he thought he should for the safety of the village

Ngl I kinda hate Kishimoto's aversion to bad guys just being bad guys. This whole backstory-before-death/loss trope was cool the first time with Haku, still good with Gaara, barely hit with Kimimaro and was trash for everything after that. Just let the evil guy be evil ffs 😭

Hidan and Kakuzu are exceptions to this which is one of the reasons I like them so much. I don’t think that the trope is all bad in Shippuden tho. Some characters’ flashbacks before deaths are still effective to me; mostly villains who are still in the wrong even after knowing their backstories. Kisame and Deidara got flashbacks before they died and I still think their status as “evil guys” held up pretty well
