IN FACT, naruto here says that if the two fight, they will both die. That later in the afterlife they will understand each other because they will be neither an uchiha nor a jinchuriki, WHICH IS JUST WHAT HAPPENS AT THE END. When the two die for a few time, it is in the other world that they understand each other and when Sasuke comes back to life he recognizes that Naruto wins and acknowledges that he wants to be part of the Village and the other characters. Kishimoto had it all figured out from here.

This episode was so good. Naruto literally saved Sasuke here, he took a lot of the crazy out of him. Obviously didn't fix him, but fixed him enough for now. Incredible maturity from Naruto, most we've seen from him so far and it's just so nice to see him this calm, collected and confident in front of his rival who is everything but that. Complete opposites, as they were meant to be written. I wanna say this is among my top 5 Naruto episodes but that might not be true. It is however definitely among my top 10 Naruto episodes

When Sakura and Kakashi were also moved by Naruto's powerful words, like Naruto waited three years and finally get to "propose" to Sasuke. Itachi was right, Sasuke just don't know how lucky he is, met someone like Naruto, who wlling to lend a helping hand even in his darkest moment.

Dawg seeing it now i cant believe i couldn’t tell that was Obito once he told Kakashi that jutsu doesnt work on him. Mans literally kamui’d himself away😭. And Sasuke always with the quick banter even during the hate session. Gotta love it
