Stuff people ask all the time--I hope this can help anyone out there: Kakashi's many jutsu: Standard X- Lightning Blade Dash Attack X+back(D-pad for Nunchuk style)- Fireball Jutsu X+forward(D-pad is the jutsu button for Nunchuk style)- Water Shark Bomb Jutsu X+down(D-pad is the jutsu button for Nunchuk style)- Earth Style Quake Jutsu X+Up(D-pad is the justu for Nunchuk style)- Wind Style Rising Dragon Back, then X (or D-pad for Nunchuk style)- activate Sharingan(cost 50% chakra; Kakashi slowly loses health) Latent Ninja Power or Crisis Technique- Kakashi no longer requires chakra to activate Sharingan. No longer loses health. Mangekyo Sharingan's activation time is greatly reduced. A step up from his EX 3 powers. Sasuke Uchiha's jutsu: Standard X- Chidori Back+X- Chidori Stream. Requires 75% chakra....I think (not available when Sasuke enters Crisis mode/Latent Ninja Power). Down+X- Amaterasu(Amaterasu can be held for longer effect and greater damage. Releasing the technique early still activates the flames but only in one spot and for a short period; anyone hit by the flames will continue to burn and lose health slowly). Latent Ninja Power or Crisis Technique- Sasuke instantly activates the jutsu for his Kirin, a huge lightning dragon attack. It can be blocked and doesn't require full chakra. Itachi Uchiha's jutsu: Standard X- from what I gather, Itachi seems to either use his older Genjutusu from the Gamecube series or his newer EX jutsu at random.... both require full chakra. Down+X- Amaterasu(Amaterasu can be held for longer effect and greater damage. Releasing the technique early still activates the flames but only in one spot and for a short period; functions just like Sasuke's Amaterasu). Latent Ninja Power or Crisis Technique- Itachi no longer requires chakra to use clones or his Back+A teleport Back, then X- Susano'o*** ***I believe Susano'o based on how much chakra you have. Taking any hits reduces the amount of chakra and shortens the span of Susano'o's activation. Itachi also loses any remaining health before activation and cannot regain chakra, cannot use substitution jutsu, cannot use any crisis techniques and cannot use Shadow Clones after Susano'o ends. The one upside to it is that Itachi cannot take damage during the attack, except from certain jutsu such as Rasenshuriken or Jiraiya's Toad Summoning down+X. Some jutsu seem to be able to disrupt and damage the Susano'o, and Itachi as well.*** Anko's Curse Mark is Back+X. It can be activated at any point so long as you have enough chakra. In Crisis, it requires zero chakra. She also gains the ability to teleport with Back+A and her snakes deal extra damage. Ino's down+X can put the opponent to sleep. Her Crisis technique is Back+X and it completely renders the controls of the opponent useless and put them in disarray leaving them unable to block or defend themselves. However, you get only one shot. Sage Naruto: Standard X- a co-operative assualt into a finishing Rasen Shuriken Down+X- RasenShuriken. It can be blocked....but not for long. Tends to destroy guards. However it is only a mid-range weapon. ***Back+X- regain chakra ***In Crisis mode, or Latent Ninja Power, Sage Naruto no longer requires chakra to use Shadow Clones, teleport across the stage, or to use his back-b Rasengan and Rasengans mid-combo. He still cannot gain chakra through any other method than summoning a Shadow Clone to help regenerate his full chakra bar (Back+X). I hope this helps. Sage Naruto is a fantastically deep character with a lot of power and many applications...the big downside is that they all require the player to manage chakra and watch over the bar like a hawk because Sage Naruto is completely dependent on chakra to be effective.

another option is to go to Akihabara Tokyo Japan. An search for the game there. I found Clash of ninja 3 and 4 for 1500-2000 Yen per game which equals 15-20 USD. They were in great condition. You can find this one there too but you gotta search for them in the stores.

I loved this games basic mechanisms - played the hell out of Gekitou Ninja Taisen 2-4. the multiplayer was especially fun, never got tired of it playing with 2 other people. But it always failed so hard at fanservice.. it never updated existing characters with new jutsus - like Kiba never got garouga, chouji butterfly mode...etc, it pretty much took away all the pre-ts characters and was trying to sell them little by little with just a new post-ts skin and a couple of new moves, maybe specials, sometimes not even that... havent added all the characters that should've been obligatory, like Pain and Konan. Havent added the deceased pre-ts characters into the Wii games, like zabuza, haku, sandaime, sound 5.. they just always cut corners. with the addition of all the missing important characters, major jutsus and some graphic improvement this could be the best Naruto fighting game. hell, I still like it the most even with all the shortcomings.

I'd disagree on the fanservice thing. The first two games were limited, but Gekitou Ninja Taisen 3 and onwards (except the first EX) were on point in that aspect. Yugao Uzuki and Baki were playable in Clash of Ninja and EX 3 before any other Naruto game. It would be two years until the Storm series featured them.

Also take into consideration one is called shippuden. so the whole pre/post time skip is a very debatable subject. I think they covered their objective without those characters. But yes I am disappointed they didn't make choji butterfly a back+special as a power up. Among a few other things...

Man, it's a damn shame Namco Bandai has a monopoly on Naruto now (hell, most things anime period) as it sure as hell feels like that, after they got 100% of the license from Ubisoft (former XBOX exclusive) and Tomy (former Nintendo exclusive), it feels like they just stopped caring after that. Still love UN3, but damn. Namco Bandai and anime/manga are like Japanese EA at this point, but with better games.

D'onte Graves I play the game and it has nothing to do with any of that. It lasts for around 10 seconds and when it’s done, itachi’s health is reduced to like 1% and he’s unable to charge for new chakra. The chakra probably charged here because it’s set to automatically charge for practice. For yeah he basically untouchable, but his attacks are easy to avoid. I do not recommend using it.

wes ley I play the game extensively. i know what I'm talking about If Itachi is hit by the Rasenshuriken, it effectively ENDS Susano'o. Itachi can be killed during the move. As far as I know, this has happened. I seriously doubt any normal jutsu can stop it, and I know Kirin can't, but the Rasenshuriken is somewhere around 20-30 hits and decimates whatever it touches. Jiraiya's Down X can also stop Susano'o due to how much sheer damage the move can do. When Itachi is hit during Susano'o, he takes zero damage but LOSES CHAKRA, and chakra is needed to sustain Susano'o. Like I stated in my one year old comment, TAKING ANY HITS REDUCES THE AMOUNT OF CHAKRA YOU HAVE AND SHORTENS THE SPAN OF SUSANO'O. The Rasenshuriken, Anko's Snake attack, and many of Kakashi's jutsu have numerous attacks, enough to decimate the Susano'o when done correctly and all hits land. Raikage might me able to blow it away in one hit, lest you be stupid enough to let a Raikage player fully charge his down X special jutsu. In Sage Naruto's case, all he needs to do is launch a Rasenshuriken and he can defeat the susano'o and kill Itachi; Itachi cannot block during Susano'o. The Susano'o attacks aren't really easy to avoid due to Itachi being able to move during the duration. Being even in mid-range is good enough for him to connect and none of the attacks are blockable or can be countered.

Yeah. Combo cancelling was present in every Gekitou Ninja Taisen/Clash of Ninja after 4. Differences are that since EX 2, cancelling has been significantly polished. Gekitou Ninja Taisen 4 was rather....arbitrary with what you can or can't cancel and the mechanic itself was largely unpolished (Kidomaru, Naruto, Ten-Ten and Anko can cancel their down+B and forward+B combos, while Sakon, Jiraiya, Sakura Gaara, Tayuya and Shino cannot cancel their down+B combos and some of them cannot cancel forward+B or jump+B--forward+B can be cancelled with Jiraiya with precise timing). Combo cancelling has been radically redesigned so that it works similarly with every character and so that chakra gain is relative to the move you perform after cancelling. In Special, in addition to that, cancelling was revamped to balance the gameplay. No one(I believe) can cancel their jump+B for example and the character must be fully grounded to cancel at all times. One downside to this is that in Special, the engine has been sped up, so certain combos (even default combos) don't work as well or at all and cancelling with certain characters is either late, requiring strict timing or won't register at all, making it useless to attempt former bread-and-butter combos. Ino along with Kurenai and Anbu Kakashi got hit with this the hardest by far. Minato seems to cancel whenever the game feels like it.

Anbu Kakashi has a counter and an air-counter, if you want to call it that. If you catch an opponent mid-air and press the jutsu button, he will slam the opponent down with Chidori. It is one of the most damaging Jutsu in the game but against a good player, you probably won't ever get to use this move. Alos, unlike the counter on the ground, the mid-air version requires full chakra.

If generations is the first one you've played then you should also try Ninja Storm 1. Storm 1 has the best ultimates and jutsus. Also you can clash jutsus in Storm 1 and do this Ultimate Punch thing that causes a cool cutscene!

You mean teleport as in substitution? To get behind the opponent but not attack, press Z on the nunchuk. To use a standard subtitution and counterattack, press B on the remote. In Special, this requires your substitution bar to be full. Substitutions no longer use chakra. Of course, certain characters (Sage Naruto, Raikage, Minato, Orochimaru, Itachi, Sai,Anko and Lee in crisis mode, Ino, etc.) can actually teleport behind the opponent. Unsure what you're asking, so just clarify.

Um when u do anbu kakashi's air jutsu yer supposed to do it really close to them then he grabs them and does it and I think u skipped one of his also
