I think the timeskip in Naruto was to show how strong Naruto thought he was only to be showed up by Sasuke when Naruto confronted him early on in shippuden so the failure to bring Sasuke home made naruto stronger. The timeskip was also to show how Naruto's bond with Jiraiya strengthened as well and when he died the premise had been set for Naruto's battle with Pain showing he how he grew.

If Naruto ever gains full control over his tailed beast then it would be hard to say who has control over the kyuubi but i'm leaning more towards Naruto if that ever happened. The fight would definitely not be one-sided though because Luffy's combinations with his gomu gomu no techniques would beat Naruto senseless if he didn't use shadow clones as guards while he thinks of something to counter with so the fight could go either way it would be a hard battle for both of them to win.

@RegnaRamI Well thank you for keeping your cool, most one piece fans would've raged off topic by now. but for the sake of continuing the entertaining argument, I have to say that Luffy would not be able to simply dodge one of Sasuke's attacks. His Sharingan not only puts people and animals under a trance, but it allows him to see high-speed movements in slow motion, allowing him to hit luffy without fail if needed.

I know Zoro is beast and all but against Sasuke he really doesn't stand a chance at all. But if it was a full on sword fight it would probably be a tie because of Sasuke's sharingan OR Zoro might win since he's been training to be a master swordsman his whole life. But if Sasuke used his mangekyou sharingan then...........

@RegnaRamI Good point, but one look at sasuke's eyes(which luffy would no-doubt do) would put him into Sasuke's genjutsu, allowing him to control everything Luffy does without him realizing it, making any amd all attacks dodgeable.(Genjutsu are a major thing that Naruto has against many other anime, since it can pretty much control whatever the user wishes with a few simple hand gestures-and for things like sharingan even THAT isn't needed!)

@Orchaisama Whatever exaggerated or not thats how it was meant to be deal with it and no there were no explosive tags in Gaara's, Temari's, or Darui's attacks. The main reason that there was a huge explosion was because all of the combined attacks hit Sasuke's Susanoo in the same spot meaning they all clashed at the exact moment that they hit the Susanoo.

@novablaster1000 the substitution jutsu is a jutsu that requires a lot of chakra so it isn't used very much ever since the end of Part 1 you may see it sometimes in Part 2 but not very often. And Logia users in One Piece aren't affected by most attacks like bullets and blunt attacks like punches and kicks so that is a logia users substitution jutsu.

@Orchaisama We haven't seen any big feats that put Busoshoku Haki on par with Susanoo the most we have seen from Busoshoku being used as a defense is when the 3 Admirals combined their Busoshoku Haki to block against Whitebeard's shockwave attack...and the best Busoshoku feats we have seen from Luffy or offensive type feats like when Luffy 1 shotted a Pacifista or when he used Busoshoku in his forehead to break through those turtle shells that are harder than steel but thats it!

@Orchaisama There were no explosive tags out of any of the attacks that Gaara, Kankuro, Temari, and Darui threw at Sasuke 3 out of 4 of the attacks were element based (i.e. Gaara, Darui, Temari) and Kankuro used a puppet technique. They weren't exaggerated because those were their most powerful attacks at the time so its no wonder they did that much damage at the time. And the force of Kirin slamming down on Itachi's Susanoo must of blown his cloak off because Kirin didn't damage him at all.

@Orchaisama Sorry to burst your bubble but Susanoo has more feats than Busoshoku Haki lol! Susanoo has been stated to be an invincible armor and even though its been proven that its not quote on quote "invincible" its nearly impossible to break through. Susanoo isn't just a bunch of hype its actually legit especially Itachi's version which has the Yata Mirror which can deflect any attack and the Totsuka Blade which can seal anything it pierces.

@MugiwaraJr There are literally 3 names for the Third Raikage's jutsu either Hell Stab, Hellbringer Hand, and the other one in Japanese that i can't remember off of the top of my head. Dodai the ninja your talking about said that the Third's Hellbringer Hand was strong but during his generation no one else had a sword as shrp as his currently Sasuke's Chidori and Kakashi's Raikiri could counter the Hellbringer Hand and cut through rubber easily especially Sasuke because of his Chidori Blade.

@Orchaisama You have to take into account that by the time Naruto ganged up on Pain with his Shadow Clones, Pain was extremely weakened because he had invaded Konoha and had multiple battles, then he destroyed Konoha, then he fought Naruto, then he fought 6 Tails, and then he struggled to subdue the Kyuubi in 8 Tails form and he created Chibaku Tensei when he was already low on chakra, and then he was forced to fight Naruto again. If Pain fought Lucci he'd be at full power with no limitations.

@LORDUnLuCkY13 Also explain to me how Kalifa would be able to destroy the Iron Sand because Rankyaku will not save her it would probably make a dent but it can reform and change its shape meaning it can be sharp. And Sasori's puppet the Third Kazekage can make a giant poison cloud and drag Kalifa into it since he has wires. And the Third Kazekage's right arm can sprout multiple arms and he can use this to his advantage to grab Kalifa and crush certain parts of her body.
