Considering she is the LAST thing that is rooting boruto in the human world? I see kashin koji treating this like an all or nothing, at all costs scenario to avoid. If himawari dies, I think it will happen alongside koji being sacrificed. It just really has those same jiraiya vibes and how he went after pain to not only answer what made pain unique, but to attempt to end pain only to end up being the sacrifice that made naruto get active in a way nobody that knew him had ever seen previously. himawari is also a singularity then. we saw 3 in one chapter and KK snuck in himawari by not openly stating it but taking precautions as such. i really think himawari and kawaki are going to somehow "tame" boruto because of his constant momoshiki threat but also because they need him in the shadows to get intel. which is also why i think kawaki has a staff in the future. a staff used to discipline animals. himawari would one shot borushiki whenever he takes over and kawaki seals him away until needed.

After the fight vs Naruto and Sasuke, FUSED Momoshiki replenished his health and chakra with the scientific ninja tool from Katasuke, ate 3 more chakra pills which replenished him even further, and still lost 1v1 to *KID* Boruto while Naruto and Sasuke were pinned down by chakra rods. 3. *BASE* Boruto using a shadow clone was capable of blitzing FUSED Momoshiki, punch him in the stomach, activate his Jougan, counted FUSED Momoshiki's taijutsu, which created an opening for another vanishing rasengan hit to his ribcage all before the real Boruto came out of the sky with his giant vanishing rasengan(which was mixed with BOTH Boruto and Naruto's chakra) to defeat FUSED Momoshiki but the *FACT* still remains that *KID* Boruto did indeed fight *FUSED* Momoshiki *1v1* and held his own and defeated him proving he's already Otsutsuki tier which is NOT *DEBATABLE*

Koji is gamamaru and jiraya combined. But there’s one thing he forgot to check, himawari's true potential in the future. He probably thinks boruto and kawaki are the only solutions for Jura and never saw himawari's future through his prescience. He should've just taught all Naruto's children together boruto, kawaki and himawari. I bet we'll witness boruto and kawaki shielding and protecting himawari while they fight Jura all together just like how we've seen guy and Kakashi helping Naruto against obito and the tailed beasts. But let's be honest, maybe Koji lied to boruto, maybe he knows they'll never win even after teaching boruto everything he learned in the future. So, Koji is prepared to use any dirty solution for Jura's defeat, even if it means sacrificing himawari or giving Naruto to Jura just to distract Jura and make him stop from killing everyone at once and have one last chance or opportunity to kill jura while he'sdistracted, this is something boruto will never see coming which will lead to momoshiki's awakening. Kashin Koji might lie a little bit to avoid hurting boruto's feelings or make him feel hopeless but momoshiki never lies. He'll tell boruto the truth about Koji's true plan, hopefully. Boruto doesn't want anyone to die but himself but it's impossible, Naruto and Sasuke would have failed to defeat kaguya without obito's sacrifice last minutes sacrifice. At any rate, boruto might kill Koji with his own hands for using his loved ones or maybe momoshiki will kill Koji because he'll troublesome. I don't think Himawari being alive will play a role in defeating Jura. However, I do think her death will play a huge role in the future turning out bad. I think that if Himawari dies, then Boruto will lose his mind, and Momoshiki will taker over Boruto's body. Notice how the toad was quick to inform Boruto of Himawari's location before anybody learned of her having Kurama inside her. Her being alive alone is important to Boruto's sanity and the outcome of the future. Now, imagine Himawari dies, and Kurama becomes extinguished. Boruto may still have kernels of Kurama chakra inside him. So, imagine Kurama getting reborn in Boruto, but that chakra mixing with Momoshiki's chakra. Maybe the mixture would result in Boruto having the Kurama chakra cloak shown in an early sketch of Boruto with chakra cloak, Mitsuki sage mode, and Sarada with her mangekyo sharingan.
