Hi max i am bit confused about this m4 lineup should i get M4 imac with 24GB ram or is it better to just going for m4 pro MacBook pro and in future i buy the studio display for indoor use i already have a MacBook so portability is not my biggest need it’s just frustrating that iMac doesn’t come with m4 pro and mac mini with studio display and Magic Mouse and keyboard is bit out of my budget right now my maximum budget right now is around $2.2k

You only need more Ram for Photoshop and Lightroom if you use those a lot then yes go for 24GB Ram but otherwise you get 16GB on the base which is a huge upgrade!

IMHO Not any is good ... because they're chinese, and unless their software and firmware is interchangeable with OSS I have very little confidence in their respect for privacy.
