He is the best at catching bars. Some commenters confuse catching bars with breaking bars down. Darae only has headphones and KZbin videos - he’s catching bars in real-time. The Lost in Vegas duo are reading the bars off their laptops, but giving good breakdowns

Nas has the edge lyrically, Wayne rode over the beat better. Nas was more ducking and weaving through the pockets, which set up Wayne nicely for his verse. Different styles that complement each other great. Every time these two dudes on a track together it’s fire.

@ToniSmith-wj9uf Wayne had it with punchlines that were funny but not on subject. Nas had the structure and story, plus had more depth. Nas had some punchlines too, some that went over alot of heads. Both were great, but I prefer Nas

@hybrid.catastrophic.impact6071 I see your point. It's about preference. Like what is musically pleasing to the ear. Hands down, Nas is the best story teller, his lyrical structuring is unmatched. But I listen way more to Wayne and have been for years. Maybe that's where my bias shows.

I had to come to this page as soon as I heard the song. You guys always have an appreciation for good lyrics and music. And of course you guys appreciate Lil Wayne because people do not understand how good this man could be at times. It's crazy. He flamed this one for sure And I have to agree with the rankings because there's so many different rappers that are all at a top tier level that you can't just pick one. How can you compare Lil Wayne to Andre 3000 to Eminem to Jay z to Nas to Kendrick?... They are all GOD here when they want to be so you can't really compare. It's tough

People don't want Nas to be considered the greatest of all-time to the point where the focus is on Wayne getting Nas on a song LOL. Let's lay out some facts. Nas discography since 2020 alone put put him top five ever. How do you release six albums in three years that sound nothing alike that itself is a straight impossibility. Another fact Wayne's solo discography isn't even in the conversation and that is not up for debate. Are people forgetting what Nas did on Carter 4? That's what you call lopsided. He is the greatest ever and has been and the sad truth is the double standard people have in regards to him is ridiculous. Jay is number 2 ever but if he were to do what Nas just did the music industry would call for a national holiday. If you kept the same production and just swapped voices the reaction would be hilarious despite everything being identical. When you write down the solo releases between whoever you think is in the conversation it's not even remotely competitive anymore

@@naijalikeplay2527 get your facts straight he was on the outro track they just put it into three different song on the same beat. And don't try to bring mixtapes up that's what everyone tries to do when the artist they are speaking on simply can't match up. Despite that his discography can't even matchup against his 6 since 2020. All that hype behind the Carter 5 and whoops LOL. Is a generational Talent absolutely incredible but opinion is absolutely a right until people push opinion as fact when the evidence simply doesn't support it

If we run with your Rushmore idea, we need one Rushmore for discography and one for lyricism. Because they’re not the same. Take Kanye - he’s on discography Rushmore, but not the lyrical one
