I know a lot of you youngens are listening to this, but spread the word amongst your generation. This is true hip hop. No mumbling, no shitty beats. Boom bap, samples and a true lyricist. Hip hop is at it's best in this form.
@alimayu.4 ай бұрын
let people do. it's vane to assume that everything must gratify everyone. it's easy to understand why mumbling and distortion are appreciated when this is all you hear in the spaces in the spectrum. maybe unintelligible speech is what people prefer after a lifetime of being spoken at or trapped. it's a transcendent artform that conveys the message that being drilled on through media and speech is the opposite of what people enjoy. The point is to acknowledge that after being told how to behave under all types of threats people just want something loud and safely predictable like distortion and vocal timbre. Too each his own, but hating the generation that chose not to follow your template is not going to make your wish come true.... Blowing out the candles others doesn't make yours shine any brighter.

@alimayu. Wow. What a load of bullshit. For starters, where did I say that I hated the younger generations? Secondly, unintelligible speech is anti hip-hop. Mumbling a series of noises and benign words is not hip hop or rap. It is something else that should not be identified and fall under the umbrella of hip hop. It is closer to pop music than hip hop. It is very clear to me that you do not know what real hip hop is and what it stands for. And to clarify, this is me now hating on someone. What I originally said wasn't.
