I don’t think people appreciate the level of maturity Cole had for publicly and humbly condemning one of his most popular songs and explaining how he let his hero down. Nobody in this generation is as real as Cole. Period.

This is one of the many reasons Nas is my favorite rapper. He didnt even have to respond but he did, he let Cole know he had his back and was still proud of him and supported him. He was actually being a "big brother" to him and steering him in the right direction.

Where else do you see this kinda camaraderie?? Nas, Jermaine, Kendrick... the realist... It's no accident that three of the true-blues of hip-hop flock together. “I’m not saying I’m gonna change the world, but I guarantee that I will spark the brain that will change the world.” - Tupac Shakur Stay true to yourself... Work towards being the best version of you so you can go out into the world and inspire others to become the best version of themselves.

Not sure where ive been but im ashamed to say this is my 1st time hearing this. As i listen to it with tears in my eyes and a heavy heart because of a fight and words exchanged with my adult son that i never imagined being said. This puts me in a mindset of a father talking to his son. I know you dont understand at times when i give you tough love but its done out of love and when its needed. If i see you going down the wrong path its my duty to pull you by the coat tail and give you advice or redirection. I want you to be better than me in every way. My bark has always been louder than my bite so at times try and look past the tone of my voice and absorb the lesson. I love you son..@ jcole.... @nas.... thank you for this. Its doing some healing in my heart.

Don’t never feel for the tough love OG it’s needed. As well as affection be there for him those small talks count big dog.
