Far too many great rappers for there to be one best rapper. Every era has great rappers, you cant say that Nas would have been the best rapper of the 70s, 80s for instance because he wouldnt have sounded great back then compared to Melle Mel or Kurtis Blow, Busy Bee, Kool Moe Dee, Run DMC or the mid to late 80s Rakim, Slick Rick, LL Cool J,Guru, Big Daddy Kane, Chuck D would have all sounded better, its not just about the lyrics it could be delivery, storytelling or the vocal qualities which work for that particular track or genre.

Hit Boy has completely raised the bar with his production. All that trap and drill BS doesn't require much ingenuity. Hit's production is multi-layered and exceptionally broad in range.
