The light doesn't pack its bags and tell the fam goodbye to head to our eyeballs. If it can't be seen, it's not bright enough. This "light travels" thing ruins the simple truth of existence. A planet in total darkness that same distance away would you still say it's possibly not even there? I've been an avid student of astronomy overall most of my 71 yearsas, was my mother. It never ceases to amaze me to see what God has created---and none of this, not one tiny speck---came about by evolution, but strictly and only by His mighty hand!

This is beyond miraculous. So beautiful. And how can we even remotely think that we are the only planet which supports life and, more specifically, human beings or whatever we can name creatures like ourselves. Without a doubt the “alien beings” are out there and probably think we are beneath their interest. This is so incredible to see. Thank you for sharing!

We ARE on the only planet that supports life...read the Bible, get what God says....but we won't be at some point in the future.

Hi Kathleen, I’m Not a Bible thumper…….however the more I learn about science and space the more I believe we are definitely the only planet that supports human life. How old is our planet? And so far in all that time we haven’t found anywhere anything like our planet…..not even close…..not anywhere in the big “out there”. It only adds to my in depth personal reflection. I am appreciative of everything like never before. I’m grateful to be wide open to the next phase. Take good care of yourself, this is quite a ride. God bless you. ♥️👋🌷🌹🌠M.L.

Not so fun fact: The Chandra X-ray telescope is about to be decommissioned and there are no plans to extend or replace. The people united and got their government to extend the Hubble telescope. We can do the same, here.

How could camera go some degrees around that pillar of Eagle Nebula? Or, how did they come up with pillar structure a little behind pillar, a sort of 3D image?

Beautiful compilation of remarkable images from the Hubble and Webb Observatories. It would be a crime against science and humanity to defund these projects, considering the effort invested in bringing projects like the Chandra X-ray observatory on line and it's contribution to our knowledge base.

Why do you even want anything to be created by a god? The universe simply created itself, no god did that. Why would he make billions of galaxies randomly spread with energy all interacting with itself. We are the stars, we are all energy and the universe waking up, seeing itself. Stop believing in a god there is no such thing. Believe in the universe and the laws by which we live.
