They will just claim it's all CGI, there is no convincing them. I watched a debate with a flat earther and he claimed that astronauts only believe they are going in space because the windows are actually hd screens and it tricks them lol 😆 Flerfs can't be convinced with evidence.

The numerous opportunities arise from the immense scale of having one or two Starships connected in lunar orbit. Is it conceivable for SpaceX to establish their exclusive lunar outpost?

SpaceX doesn’t really focused on Space stations but in theory yes, they might do it.

With this architecture Americans will land on the moon in the 50s. Staship will not be human rated without abort mode!. Cryo fuel transfer and long term storage technology is not yet developed. A single trip to the moon will require multiple starship launches adding costs to the enormously complex system. Huge SLS costs - a single launch is now projected to cost 4x the cost of a single saturn V launch in todays money. I understand the enthusiasm but sadly Arthemis program is not even remotely resembling Apollo. I hope I am wrong though and we will see man walking on the moon in two years or so because that would sent a message to the people of the world what wonders we can achieve if we only commit.

How so? The Orion craft is just fine to go to the moon seeing as it just did a flyby, should be no different with humans in it. The lander is the only problem right now but that can be built still. Either way I don't see how this is worse than Apollo.

Instead of blowing billions on this why not seperate the ISS in two and push one half in a low energy path to the moon and put it into a low energy orbit around the moon. (;-) TP

Should have all of this up within 1 year ,not until 2028/2030.Also ,we can use a couple Sierra expandable habitats hooked up together to make a lunar gateway space station maybe sooner.🚀🚀🛰

I wish it all happens sooner but the reality is that maybe even this decade won’t be enough for them. But let’s be hopeful!
