hello! I'm so happy to see you again with ABBA songs and Your lovely reaction "Fernando" (1976) is slowly, and beautiful The best is the beauty of their vocal harmonies, with great solo intro by Frida, very soft at the whisper level but at a level of perfection ABBA had already recorded "Dancing Queen" and it came from the success of "Mamma Mía" It was the manager who convinced Them to record "Fernando" so as not to repeat the style (the brunette Frida had done it the year before on her solo album in Swedish, with other lyrics, and it was a big success) The manager was right and everything was a great success, one after another in 1976, that gives ABBA three #1 consecutives in UK: Mamma Mía ; Fernando ; Dancing Queen "Fernando" was a colossal success in Australia (14 weeks #1 surpassed the BEATLES with "Hey Jude") and #1 in U.S. Adult Contemporary "Fernando" is the ABBA second greatest worldwide (only behind Dancing Queen) and sell more than 10 millions singles all over the world now I give You three suggestion of classics, greatest songs and #1 in UK, for a next reaction to ABBA 1) "The winner takes it all" (1980), the Most heartbroken song 2) "Take a chance on me" (1978), one of most power and happiest songs 3) "Waterloo" (1974), but Not the Official video (that is good); in these case is better when ABBA was famous for win the classic Eurovision Song Contest in UK 1974: kzbin.info/www/bejne/aXfWh5iDr5Z5a8U (these is the link with the live performance of ABBA, it's historic moment that changes 70s music) but if You want to see "Hidden Gems Forgotten" there's a lot of another greatest songs: "I've been waiting for you" (1975) "Move on" (1977) "If it wasn't for the nights" (1979) I see you in the next video A cordial greeting to You ñ with all affection from Buenos Aires Argentina

Individually they are good, but two women voices together made them GREAT! LOVE ABBA!

I love both girls. But Frida is a professional vocalist. Agnetha is fine, but does not have the keen ear, diaphragmatic breathing, vocal skills of Frida. The more you dig into ABBA, the more you learn. Both ABBA are awesome, but Frida is exceptional. ABBA: Bright Lights Dark Shadows The Real Story of ABBA By Carl Magnus Palm Read it straight from the ABBA/Polar Music Team. Frida is known for her keen ear, diaphragmatic breathing, wide range, full/round warm timbre. Benny, Bjorn and Michael B Tretow ABBA's engineer considered Frida a master vocalist.

@@lillired857 Many more than four: The ABBA/Polar Music Team: Stikkan 'Stig' Anderson * Gorel Johnsen-Hanser ** Anni-Frid Lyngstad Benny Andersson Bjorn Ulveras Agnetha Falkskog Rutger Gunnarsson Michael B Tretow &. ABBA's loyal top rank session/touring musicians. * Stig. As Frida told the world in 2010, during RockNRoll Hall of Fame induction ceremony in New York City -- paraphrasing; "Without Stig,..we would not be standing here tonight." Stig is a icon that put Swedish popular music on the map. In the 60's his songs and artist's dominated the Swedish charts. ** Gorel did not write any music, write any lyric, play any instruments, but was the backbone of Polar Music and Stig's "right hand", hired in 1969. Gorel responsible for all the international regional record label license agreements that through Polar Music. Gorel did all that, along with personal manager to the core four and handling PR/media. All fans should know about Gorel. Gorel still with ABBA today. Read about Polar Music and ABBA. The history. It starts in 1960. 1960: Sweden Music publishing, Stig Anderson 1963: Polar Music, label, Stig Anderson 1963: first signing: West Bay Singers/Hootenanny Singers -- Bjorn Ulveras' group 1963: first ever meeting between any core four members: Bjorn and Anni-Frid. Frida was on everyone's radar as a vocal centric genre vocalist. She first got noticed in grade school. The real deal.

A beautiful song and I believe it’s Frida from ABBA’s favourite of their songs. “ Fernando” is about the Spanish civil war.

Abba can do ml wrong. If you like something with a kind of reggae vibe, listen to One of us. It's a beautiful song. Also try The winner takes it all and Chiquitita 👌
