I would suggest try homeopathy and sure your polyps. Nitric Acid, Thuja, Lemna Minor , Lycopodium and so many good medicines. I know homeopathy but not doing. May be I will make app for that one day.

It has been almost two years since my surgery, and all is well. Of course the polyps are slowly growing, but it has not affected me other than not being able to smell. I continue to use Prednisone a couple of times per year to maintain, and of course I will probably see my doctor again in the next year just to have him check on them. With that said, they are still not affecting my breathing.

I'm Canadian and just had mine done 4 days ago. They removed polips and straitened it , 3 hour surgery. I still have a plastic splint in there for 4 more days. Can't wait to get that out. Absolutely amazing surgeon. He doesn't use packing it's desovible mesh and you can breath right away and you Start irrigating day two. No sores no Vaseline no problem.

I'm happy with your report, I hope everything is going well with you. I live in Canada too (BC) and I've been on the surgery waiting list for 11 months and they still haven't made an schedule. I'm desperate because I can't get a good night's sleep anymore and I haven't had any taste or smell for a long time. Did you smell and taste again after surgery? Thank you.

I had my surgery yesterday to remove grade 3 bilateral polyps, pretty much blocked both my nostrils, breathing was impossible. Strange to see how much others have struggled with the surgery considering how bad mine were. Felt absolutely great straight after surgery, was able to breathe easily pretty much instantly, had some discharge the first night but I’m pretty much blood free 2nd night and breathing fine, all I had was dissolvable packing inserted during surgery, but I’m pretty much back to normal after a day or so. Have plenty of sprays and Prednisolone to help over the next couple of weeks but recovery has been a breeze so far luckily! Your videos really helped ease my nerves before my surgery though so thanks for that 😊 anyone else worried about don’t be, it’s pretty straight forward & it’s definitely worth getting.

currently going through the same. cant breathe through my nose most of the time. changed my diet to include more teas and anti-inflammatorys, removed carpets, new pillows and mattress, allergen test came back no allergies. They told me its a nasal polyp and might need surgery to remove. Azelastine just helps for like an hour and barely opens me up 20-50%. Its to the point im developing insomnia as i cant sleep for weeks. every time i start to doze off i get jerked back to awake because i cant breathe. er wants to give me anxiety medication which only makes me drowsy but still cannot sleep. i got covid last week which honestly was the best 2 nights of sleep ive had in 2 months (due to fever knocking me out). I see my head ENT in 3 weeks (sooooooo long away) and see when they will schedule the surgery, if at all. Knowing the medical industry, it will be 3 months away. If you are someone who can breathe through your nose, you are BLESSED.

I had the surgery about 4 years ago. Your recovery tracks with mine fairly well. Once Covid hit my sinus doctor kinda stopped bothering with me. Now my polyps are definitely back in spades, and I haven’t had a good nights sleep for too long. Maybe my next sinus doctor will be able to get me in for surgery pretty quickly. Im going to try to talk to the doctor about getting some prednisone in the mean time so I can hopefully sleep.

Thank you, you’ve been very informative. I just had a CT on my nasal cavity and was told I have polyps and deviated septum. I get seriously congested most nights and it forces me to breathe through my mouth then my whole mouth, tongue and throat get super dry and super uncomfortable and hard to get a decent night sleep. I’ve been referred for surgery, but my main concern is the post surgery recovery not being able to breathe through my nose due to bandage and Vaseline and tape for about a week is going to be a challenge to try to keep my mouth moist throughout sleep. Once again thank you for the info.

Thank you so much for sharing your experience and valuable information. People don’t really understand what a horrible condition it is to live with. It seems like nothing much it’s not cancer right? I find it so difficult to understand what is going on from what the doctors tell me it doesn’t really make sense based on what I’m experiencing. I wish you luck in your healing and hope we can all find solutions that really work.

That's crazy that it started with a broken nose. My grandsons started when after a shower there was a puddle of water left behind that I didn't see and clean up. I started dinner and he went back to get his toys and I found him freezing in cold water during cold weather. He got a cold soon after, that turned into the nightmare we are gng threw now. When all his sinus problems started. Nose, ears, throat, infections. He got a bacterial infection in his sinuses. And had to have surgery. The mucus gets worse now when he go back to school. During the summer he was great. Off medicines and living it up. Right now he has been home 4 days and been diagnosed with polips, u could see them in his nostrils. So this is all new to me. I am so scared he might have his face removed. I've seen videos where it's gotten that far. thanx for the video. What to expect and know what to discuss with his doctor is important to us. Please don't hesitate to tell me anything, or explain, or contact me for any information if you think u missed on this video. My grandson is only 3 and we have been suffering along side with him for around 2 years. ❤😢

Hi, I just discovered your channel. For 2 months, my nostrils have been inflamed and at first I thought I was coming down with a cold. A month ago, I went to walk-in clinic and they could see that my turbanites were red and threw me on an antibiotic which I was allergic to. That was a whole other story. I do have a left deviated septum, probably congenital. I'm 68. I strongly suspect a polyp because when I look up my right nostril with a flashlight, there is a white mass resting on the turbanite. Otherwise, I can breathe and smell. I'm finally getting to see an ENT next week. My concern if I do have a polyp is getting Empty Nose Syndrome if I do get it removed. If you've never heard of it, it's pretty devastating with damage being done to the turbanites. Congrats to your success with this and putting videos out.

I just had the surgery my self. Formerly from Dubuque, Iowa myself. Surgery went well. Recovery is not pleasant as the only thing I want to do is blow nose but because of the clotting is not allowed as it would lead to bleeding. But thank you for your well done insightful video. I have been with out taste or smell for 3 years. For awhile I was going through coughing spasms I'm sure from the mucus I could not get rid of that I would cough hard enough that it would knock me out. I believe that is called coughing syncope. Good Times.

I also used Flonase and it didn’t help my polyps and I watched an ent dr say Nasonex keeps polyps down. Sure enough Nasonex does shrink the polyps. I had one coming down my nasal cavity and after I used Nasonex, that polyp shrunk right back up. I just had 2 large polyps removed 4 days ago and it’s so amazing to actually smell again. I have no packing. They are fixing to put me on Dupixent to keep polyps away! It’s a shot that you give yourself every 2 weeks. Good luck with your polyps.

@@timfordfalconxf7714 Thank you for your thoughts about my personal situation with the nasal polyps and you responding. I first started taking the Prednisone a year after the surgery because of the polyp coming back. I love the way I feel after taking the Prednisone oral steroids as it works in about 4 days whereby I can breathe clearly. Upon examination the doctor told me the polyps are all gone after using that oral steroid. My nasal polyps first came back 1 year after I had the surgery and then I took the Prednisone and after being off the Prednisone in 3 weeks the polyps came back. The same thing happened again a month later after being on the Prednisone and then going off the Prednisone. My doctor says that the oral steroids are damaging to the kidneys and livers and all organs in the body. That is why I took them for a 10 day cycle each time and he advised against using them now. This has all happened since March of this year., 1 year after the surgery. After I had the surgery last year I was told to use a saline nasal rinse with Budesonide every day which I did. Now I am in the same situation with large nasal polyps in fact I went to my doctor today and the only answer he can give me is to go on Dupexint injections. An injection once every 2 weeks. He is a surgeon but suggested to me that surgery again will not work and is not a good option for me. Do you know anything about this Dupexint injection? Thank you for your advice and your help.
