Remember how in Space 1999, it took a nuclear waste dump exploding to propel the Moon onto an epic voyage. @judywells8345 I'm in PDW56's age range and I remember at least two other temporary moons in the last 10 years or so. One was called 2020 CD3 and I forget what the other one was called. As I said above this kind of stuff goes on all the time. It's very unlikely to be a problem. As for a magnetic pole shift on earth, maybe, maybe not. The behaviour of the magnetic poles is under close scrutiny because they are important. I keep an eye on various science sources and they don't seem to be worried about it so neither am I. I know there are some sources that have been hyping it up but they don't seem to be reliable. One thing that is happening is that the sun's magnetic poles are about to flip. This happens every 11 years and we are getting some beautiful aurora's out of it. There was one the other night but the full moon washed out the faint light so it was hard to see. They are happening every six or eight weeks at the moment but will tail off in a year or so. If you can get to somewhere with a dark sky go and see if you can see it. Nature in action

Of course it is a meteorite, get a brain. We are not getting a new moon. How old are you. Read up on things before you talk stupid. That really helps. 😂

Do you really believe that NASA came up with the way they utilize the various gavitational pull's on other planet's to give boost to various satilite's; All on their own? I first became interested in astonomy at or about the age of 10, and though I don't recall exactly when, meaning the actual date. I was aware of asteroid's being sped up if and when they were caught in a planet's gravitional field, to a point where the gravitional field of the planet didn't suck the object down to it's surface but after a few orbit's was somehow just cast off, and the speed of the object aka asteroid increased. That was decade's before the Voyager One and Two project.
