It is a shame they can't get the original sponsor logos for these throwback cars, but it's understandable, especially for older sponsors that aren't around anymore/rebranded/under new ownership/etc. I know last year's 75th anniversary cars were impressive just getting anything on them.

Im just happy i found a kimi car last week at target lol. I had to pull the trigger saying as ill never see another in my life. Funny how kimi runs one race and gets a diecast lol. It worked tho, i bought it hook line and sinker 😂

@@COCarDude Respond to this comment at the end of the summer (August) and tell me how many of these cars are on your pegs, and I’ll say how many are on mine. I have about 10 Walmarts Targets and Meijers around me. All you comment liking deeriders reply too. I’m not saying they are good. They totally suck, but for 5 bucks in the stores people still buy them out. It also depends on your amount of foot traffic, I’m from a mid sized city, so if it’s a small town store then it makes sense that they wouldn’t sell.

Three hendrick throwback schemes have been revealed, Chase driving the Jr throwback, Larson with the Bodine throwback, and Bowman with the jimmie throwback. If the same trend keeps on going, do we see a rainbow warrior throwback for Byron?

The only way Ill be able to get these is online from slugs that price them at $20 because the target and Walmarts I go to only have ones from 4 years ago and the packaging's old, dusty and destroyed.

The Hendrick car looks like it has the Liquid Color paint on it. Picked one up this morning and it is definitely different from the other cars in the set. Will have to look out for more restock to compare with the other Hendricks Car to see if there is a chase variation or if they all come with the liquid paint.

Glad I'm not the only one that thought this! I picked it up and was like hey this is awfully shiny and it's in the spot on back of card where the chase car normally is,definitely isn't the paint on just the regular cars

It seems quite counterintuitive to have the packaging say "NASCAR Authentics" when they didn't appropriate funding to include ANY of the sponsorship logos. LOL What's ironic is NASCAR probably charges more than most any organization for the use of its name, logos, etc... So, did Lionel make this choice on its own, or did NASCAR pretty much say, you're on your own and we provide any assistance whatsoever to make these cars truly authentic... or even close.

I am the worst Hendrick motorsports fan ever I do not like the team or any of their drivers the back then they used to have really good drivers and I am excited to find this wave and Walmart or target but I feel like they should’ve done a Hendrick motorsports winter circles with himDale juniors 2014 win in a winter circle that would’ve been really cool. Jeff Gordon last win Kyle Busches win that would’ve been really cool but I just feel like they should’ve made it winner your circles

Not being able to get the licenses to put the actual sponsors on the cars is super lame. It honestly makes me wonder why these even got made in the first place. Seems like a half measure at most. These could be absolutely amazing but the reality is that these just suck. I won’t even consider buying a single one of them. And that makes me sad. On a lighter note, love the chill outro music!
