@blasecube2 жыл бұрын
@@sauce1232 Not really a NASCAR thing but a Racing thing in general (Personally I'm not into NASCAR at all), you need to slow down in a corner, the key being how to take it as fast as possible. Everyone slows down to take the apex without hitting the wall (which may cause a huge accident). What Chastain did was, essentially, "If I don't care about hitting the wall, I may go as fast as I can!", so he hit the wall on purpose, allowing him to take the corner at MUCH higher speed since, well, he didn't had to worry about either hitting the wall nor understering .

Thats the most insane thing I've ever seen in my 50 years of watching not just NASCAR but racing period!!!! What a closing lap & don't be surprised if NASCAR puts in a rule against doing this lol

crew cheif was to calm as it happend to i think at some point the words "" i dont care what i gotta do ill ride the fking wall to pass who ever to make it" happened ... but he had the balls to try it. also the fact he said at the end he would do "what ever it took" and it didnt involve putting his nose in someone rear quarter like LaDweebo every race is awsome huge Respect!!

I am truly surprised that no one is complaining about this as a safety issue. Figured someone would have to rain on his parade. If him and his team are OK sacrificing the car and no one else affected by his decision, I say, go for it!

We need to have a team mount rollers on the right side of the car and have them run an entire wall-lap, just to see how fast it can be done …

It's the new beta male fan base nascars been working hard to tap into all these years so they can make a seemless transition to electric cars with realistic exhaust notes .... 😙

that move will go down in history books they will make a rule on it that will never happen again nor work that well again for a winning spot into the championship on the last lap and final turn....if he wins the championship they need to make a movie on this bro X)
