I've always hated Sonoma in every NASCAR game. Watkins Glen is a different story, I love that place. Have won there once in my NH4 career and have multiple straight top 5s. Been looking for another win there but there's always someone pulling away in 1st that I can't catch up to. Also, the Roval. I hate that place. Never finished higher than 20th there.

@@dylan9371 I absolutely hate the Roval. Sonoma I was a legend at on NASCAR 14 and 15. The physics on road courses are just so bad in this game. Watkins Glen isn't as bad because it is a higher speed track. The physics in this game have trouble with low speed turning

@@JordanRunge14 14 and 15 were the only games where I was decent at Sonoma, and that was only because the cars were naturally tight and didn't slide as soon as you touch the brakes. Even the Truck and Xfinity road courses are hard for me to like. Watkins Glen has always been one of my favorites in every game. Even in NASCAR 09 where the road courses and short tracks were super slippery.

My favorite little detail in F1 is your performance on all the corners like it tells you if you’re slow, average, or excelling through each corner and they need that in NASCAR even though there isn’t as many corners on most tracks

There's 3 road courses the Cup series run on: Sonoma, Watkins Glen, and the Roval [Charlotte Motor Speedway's infield road course]. However, due to COVID-19, they aren't able to go to the Glen or Sonoma this year (NY and CA have tighter restrictions) so they cancelled Sonoma altogether and are replacing the Glen with the Daytona Road Course.

Trev I’ve actually noticed the same thing with how much I’ve been playing f1 2020 on my setup, my wrists by the end of a race weekend (50% races, full qualifying) are in so much pain. I will try turning my forcefeedback down and see if that helps, but “try to not get carpal tunnel” had me laughing and also worried

Interesting fact about the next race at Chicagoland is that it’s still in the game where it’s not on the schedule anymore. And rumors were after that announcement is Hathaway the track was going to become a facility and be destroyed

Chicagoland is still on the schedule. It, Sonoma, and Richmond (spring) missed their dates this year due to covid. The city itself said that the track won't be going anywhere. The area around it will be developed.
