I sit here today 2 months behind on rent, raining again, not a word from my boss on when we are going back to work and I have 3 days to come up with 500 dollars or my wife and I will have to be out and find another place to live. at 53yrs old I am afraid and depressed and really stressed about whats gona happen.Time and time again I have been pulled out of dire situations at the last minute and faith in my higher power does ease things for me. I don't know why I watched this video but iam glad I did. My heart pures out for this man and the rest of the Allison's and I somehow know everthing is going to be ok. God bless

hailshine409 I too am 54 years old and going through this same scenario in my life with my husband. Jobs keep shutting down or getting rained out and we are close to losing our home. But after watching what this family has endured I feel my situation is very small. This man and his wife give me the strength to carry on no matter what happens and may God bless this family. My heart hurt watching the pain that Bobby Allison and his wife were going through and I cried all the way through this.

God bless the Allison family. So many good memories for me going to watch them race. I remember being from Raleigh NC, me and a buddy pulled for Bobby, In 1972 he was driving the Coca Cola # 12 for Junior Johnson. He won the poll at Rockingham, but had to start in the rear because Junior changed tires. In no time he was leading the race and would have won had he not lost the engine. I pulled for him and then pulled for Davey in the Robert Yates Havoline #28. I never got to watch Clifford race. Glad Bobby and his wife got back together. Great Biography NascarAllOut, thanks!!!

Bobby Allison is my all time favorite stock car driver. Really my ONLY favorite driver. Btw,at 8:45, 2nd from the right, between Red Farmer & Donnie Allison, is Bob Harmon,my uncle. Better known as Uncle Bob Harmon of The All pro Slim Jim Series,Nashville Fairgrounds,& Nashville SuperSpeedway fame. He owned Montgomery International Speedway when the photo was taken in the late 50's.

Very cool. Before Uncle Bob moved to Prattville he lived in a house trailer at Montgomery International Speedway. I spent every summer staying with him & Aunt Helen all through the 60's. He was like my second father. This was long before Robert came along. I have a ton of stories as well.

222billp When he lived at the track he had a German Shepard named "Stroker" & a Chow named "Tuffy." They would run the grounds of the track & beyond together as great friends until they both were trying to knock up the same female one time. After that we had to break up their fights constantly. We had a chain link fence around the trailer & off to the side where we penned them up on Saturdays for the races. They would still growl at each other. Stroker lived long enough to make the move to Prattville. After that Uncle Bob always had poodles Each successive one named "Prissy". I think that was an Aunt Helen thing. Uncle Bob was ALWAYS busy. Btw,Uncle Bob became known AS "Uncle Bob Harmon" in 1980 when he started the ALL Pro Slim Jim Series. I had come back from having gone to college in Florida to Prattville to buy a music store there. Uncle Bob was having a hard time deciding what to call the newsletter for the series. He had already come up with"The Bullsheet" but couldn't decide on"Bob's Bullsheet" or 'Harmon's Bullsheet" when I rode into town to check out the music store. In talking with him I kept calling him 'Uncle Bob". Now I was 24 years old at the time & Uncle Bob said ,"Jimmy, you're a grown man now you don't have to call me Uncle Bob anymore if you don't want to". I thought about it for a minute & said,"If it's all the same to you calling you Bob just feels odd. You have always been Uncle Bob to me & always will be". He said that was fine & retired back to his office to decide what to call The Bullsheet. About 5 minutes later Me,my Mom,Erin (his sister) & Aunt Helen hear him yell, I've GOT IT...he came back into the room & said," I going to call it "Uncle Bob's Bullsheet".
