This made me realize how inconsistent NASCAR is when it comes to throwing the yellow on the white flag at super speedways. The rule should be depending on the severity of the wreck and if it happens after they exit turn one, let them race back.
@DepravedCoTApologist3 жыл бұрын
Tbh, that stupid overtime line would've made sense for superspeedways for last lap crashes. A crash before the line = caution, race is over. A crash after the line = race back to the finish

Great footage here! I'm glad, also, that the final lap crash from The Daytona 500, from 2001, wasn't shown. That was where many of us NASCAR Fans lost one of the greatest drivers that the Sport of NASCAR has ever known-The Intimidator, Dale Earnhardt. May he, and every NASCAR Driver that has lost their lives, doing what they loved to do, Rest In Peace And Power!🏁🏁🏁

The reason NASCAR throws the yellow at Superspeedways, is because A. They haven't heard radio communications from all drivers involved, meaning someone could be injured and needs attention asap Or B. Not because they want to slow the leaders down, but because there could be drivers off the pace, or out of the draft. Crash could be I'm turn 2. The leaders could be entering turn 3, and a lap car(s) could be exiting 2. It's a safety thing.
