@@bigdawg77 Yep, no superchargers, turbo's, nitrous, any of that. They were just naturally aspirated small block V-8's built for sheer power and they were badass. They came with the 900 hp package starting in 2007 through 2014 seasons. In 2015 NASCAR changed their application to a 750 - 800 hp because the drivers were doing speeds of 220 - 230 mph on select superspeedways which would cause the cars to take flight during a spin so they wanted to slow the cars down. Those Cup cars were beasts back then, many of the veteran drivers want to go back to the higher horsepower engine. As it is now NASCAR has a 678 hp engine in the Cup cars of today and you rarely see them get over 200 - 205 mph anymore. The only track I think they do those speeds is at Michigan and it's sister track out in Fontana.

Nick Angelos Their at 9000RPM for 200 laps name any car that lasts that long under that heavy use. Of course they replace parts on them after each race you wouldnt run old race set ups from other races thats just asking for disaster. Most of the new parts and tweeks made to it is the suspension which has to be right or the the car will lift up off the track or lose traction and slam into the wall or another car. Needless to say Nascar and F1 racing are one of the most Deadliest sports.

aixkacang Can't compare a NASCAR stock car to a F1 open wheeler, they're made for different things. A NASCAR stock car without restricted engine could reach 400 km/h as it was seen in various tests seen before, and a F1 car unleashed on the Utah Salt Flats has reached the same speed too. So based on that they're dead even. But the NASCAR stock car will never shift or be as quick in the turns as a F1 open wheeler, as it's thought to be for oval racing mainly. Both of them would get smoked by a NHRA Top Fuel dragster though, since those reach 530 km/h in around 4 seconds lol

How much power do NASCAR cars make? NASCAR Engines can produce upwards of 900 horsepower. However, in the 2022 NASCAR Cup Series at all but two road and oval tracks, Daytona, and Talladega, the engine is restricted to producing 670 Horsepower. Jason Bowen Aye a stock gtr usually run 120-130's in the 1/4 even with its short gearing, I'm thinking more aggressive tune and better breathing system for about 700-750hp. E85 setup would be insane gains.

Recorded from I will say 20 feet away. And the Regera from 6 feet away. Listen carefully. True exhaust sound is hard to justify on video. But I listen on full volume, I think that's the least we can do. Also while my car being dyno, I feel the sound wave slightly shaking my body over the other room. The sound is like a metal concert

How much power do NASCAR cars make? NASCAR Engines can produce upwards of 900 horsepower. However, in the 2022 NASCAR Cup Series at all but two road and oval tracks, Daytona, and Talladega, the engine is restricted to producing 670 Horsepower. These two tracks are limited to 510 horsepower. Prior to 2022 this was 750 and 550 horsepower respectively.

gtr is one of the fastest car ftom 0-60 in stock trim. at the start the driver looked like a total noob. plus he didnt even came near the rev limiter. you can hear him shifting to early.

That’s actually pretty fast considering that the NASCAR was spinning a tone and couldn’t put down all of its power do to lack of traction. NASCAR’s are extremely impressive especially when you consider that they make that much power with naturally aspirated engines and no Boost
