I absolutely understand how you feel on the relationship front. Got divorced last year, and while the divorce felt absolutely freeing, I still find myself in my car listening to music and certain songs coming on will find me just screaming at the top of my lungs. Bad relationships can be absolutely soul crushing, but time moves on. NASCAR Thunder 2004 is still regarded today by the vast majority of the NASCAR community & the gaming community as the best NASCAR game of all time. There is a reason it makes people happy. It has advancements that doesn't destroy the game _(Hi NASCAR '21: Implosion)._ It's the first to have such an advancement in the rivalry system. It's the very last game for a treasured generation of NASCAR _(Yes there are mods for later driver lineups, but I prefer my generation since I have 5 drivers in the original game including my Top 2 favorites of all time)._ If NT2004 is the secret to you regaining your happiness, then go for it... Besides Casey Mears & Mark Martin are in the game. 😊

Although you’re right, I miss when times were simpler in the mid-late 2010s even though back then I wasn’t doing KZbin the same way I’m doing it now since my 2nd break ended in 2021 a week before my 27th Birthday. And if there’s anything I’ve learned in life, those are memories that’ll stay with you the rest of your life no matter what. We appreciate you Kamikaze!

i actually haven’t been able to see any of those classic play throughs live as they happened, i’ve only rewatched the backlog so it’s pretty cool to be here at the genesis of a new NT04 career mode. also assuming you go multiple seasons i hope you go max chaos in silly season, yaknow save then new season, back out until you get the best silly season changes available nobody has done that in their “classic playthrough” that i’ve seen

A little secret I discovered. I think the only stat that matters with the pit crew is potential. If they're at 100 happiness, their potential is their overall. I've almost never seen them make a mistake at 100 happiness. Also, you can reroll sponsors and pit crew by backing out to the career settings screen and coming back in.

I have an idea. How about you do a series kinda like the “can I finish top 10 at the end of the year after I miss the chase” do that with thunder 2004. Like try to be 11th in points after race 26 and try to win the championship and or finish top 5 in points after the season
