Kansas: debris comes out on the apron: Caution Texas: car spins out of control multiple times on the racing surface. A caution very late
@xKami102x5 жыл бұрын
There's a difference between this happening in an ordinary race versus a PLAYOFF race. These races are absolutely vital for Playoff drivers and should be scrutinized to the best ability of the officials to determine if a driver is breaking the rules or not. Playoff races are NOT the time to be making "judgement calls". Either it is against the rules or not. Act swiftly and punish the drivers found to be breaking the rules immediately. You cannot just hand wave these away. What an absolute joke, NASCAR.
@camarowland45 жыл бұрын
The caution should be thrown when a driver gets a flat anyway, in my opinion. No need to have guys trying to wrangle a car while everyone else is going 180 mph past them. It also takes the urgency to get to the pits down, which gives the driver a chance to keep it low speed and hopefully keep the tire intact
@camarowland45 жыл бұрын
@blueridgeboy I only think that because 90% of the time its going to draw a caution, so may as well say throw it every time and prevent situations like this where it becomes a bigger judgement call

Did the “spin” help out his buddy? Where was Blaney before the spin, where was he after?
@lynnhardyjr43835 жыл бұрын
Mystery cautions are ok or if a specific driver scrapes the wall the man on the radio says "put it out!". Hell let's take breaks after a specific amount of laps and call them stages. But if you have a flat and your not on the list you better shred that tire and destroy your fender or crash if you want the yellow to come out. Yeah Bubba swerved the car prior to spinning, its possible and plausible that he was trying to determine which rear tire was flat. When he actually spun you can clearly see the left rear was down and race cars are a handful when a rear tire is flat at any speed. Plus he literally lock it down when the car began to spin making it even more plausible that he didn't spin out on purpose along with tagging the wall. As a driver If your gonna spin on purpose you know how to do it without hitting anything.

It really puts NASCAR in a tough spot here. You had to throw the yellow once he spun out and that would screw the drivers caught a lap down regardless. Fine, penalize or suspend all you want, but that doesn't change the fact that the guys that were screwed. And you can't just give them the spots back on track that they lost, and you can't hand out the points they lost because of it now. There's nothing that they can do to benefit those guys now and those were the ones effected by it.
