@@Joetato-gotta-go No, rain is terrible for racing. It's like racing on grease. Sure, it's great that we have tires for weather racing but it's not ideal for racing. Compare the Xfinity race (when it was dry) to the Cup race and it's a no brainer.

I never imagined that the downtown streets of my hometown would be the site of NASCAR, and I think it's awesome! Seeing the streets signs, Michigan Ave., the Chicago skyline, the loyal fans sitting with their clear rain ponchos on, even the unintentional spills against the tire impact safety barriers, reminiscent of an old "Speed Racer" episode, driving in Chicago, period, would be a perfect training ground for professional racers anywhere, really enjoyed the broadcast!,

Without a doubt, Nascar needs to stay in Chicago. But I would do one thing and that's reconfigure the course for longer straighaways like down LSD to Roosevelt and then up Michigan Ave. Seeing cars go upwards of 160+ mph at Chicago would be insane.

Unlike these so called best drivers in the world who can't keep their car underneath them when the roads wet. Now ya'll gonna cry.. 'they have no experience in the wet" Well now you know what SVG is up against and the stella job he's doing with no experience on ovals, but he's doing a much better job than these top tier cup guys by not crashing, not taking others out and finishing races.
