I will never understand the lack of a penalty for Jimmie Johnson on that pit stop. 1. The crew serviced the car outside of the pit box. 2. Equipment went outside of the pit box as the crew member tumbled out of it. No penalty.
@TheLittlemojo17 жыл бұрын
They said they gave no penalty because the time it took for them to fix it lost enough time that it was enough of a penalty
@MuddyPuttersDG7 жыл бұрын
No it wasn’t enough of a penalty. Pitting a car outside the box loses you a lap. Unless your Jimmie Johnson. Losing a lap is much worse than a few spots.
@altx77767 жыл бұрын
"Unless you're Jimmie Johnson" lmao like teams don't get away with BS every week.. Everyone knows NASCAR is incredibly inconsistent.
@KILLERMINELAYERS7 жыл бұрын
Apparently the concern here is that if NASCAR doesn't let them tighten a lug nut when they notice it, they risk the team deciding it's not worth it to fix it due to the time it would take, and letting the car back on track with loose lugs.
@zachhatten2617 жыл бұрын
They backed it into the pit box before servicing it, so the time lost served as the penalty. No equipment was taken out of the box and remained out and the car was serciced in the correct box

@qgaming61047 жыл бұрын
Mikey likes video games Look I understand that you are upset but when Chase got to Newman he stalled out he never got to his bumper for Newman to get out the way plus he was racing for a spot in the next spot which Chase already had even though Ricky couldn't lise anymore spots if he got a caution he could get the spots he would have needed to move on. That is just my opinion and stand point on it.
@yourfirsthouseinminecraft45317 жыл бұрын

I am a huge Chase fan and I can't stand No-Neck-Newman. He is an asshole driver. But stop fucking blaming him for that. Chase was not close to Newman. Sure, clean air is better at Charlotte, but Chase never even tried to block Kyle Busch. 100% Chase's fault. Plus Newman was trying to maintain a chance to stay in the Playoffs. Had a caution come out, he could have made up a couple of spots on pit road potentially but if he let Chase by, he would have been a lap down. I don't understand how ANYONE can expect a NASCAR driver to just give up. It's racing.

Chase has 3 second place finishes out of 4 chase races. Could be a dark horse for the title? Only problem is the people who beat him were Kyle Busch once and MTJ twice and there's a strong chance they'll both be in Homestead.
@BLyonsDesign7 жыл бұрын
As of right now I'd say he's one of, if not the best on the track with the exception of Truex Larson and Busch. Wouldn't be all that surprised to see him in the Championship 4,
@BrettMKW7 жыл бұрын
My gut just tells me those three won't all make it to the championship 4. Someone's just due to fall up a little short due to bad luck. Kyle Busch is in a bit of a precarious position with his poor run at Charlotte and with a wildcard Talladega this week (this track knocked him out in 2014 when he entered the race 2nd in points.) Decent chance Harvick wins Phoenix and Johnson/Hamlin and to a lesser extent Keselowski are always threats at Martinsville and that would only leave two spots between Truex/Larson/Busch. Elliott winning the title as a huge underdog would be awesome though especially if he does it without a win.
@gforcefilms977 жыл бұрын
Hard to see anyone but Busch or Truex winning it at the moment. Both have been on fire this season. Elliot is easily one of the best on the track but I feel like if he doesn't pick up a win before Homestead it may be tough for him. If he makes it without a win homestead would be a great race for his first.
@BrettMKW7 жыл бұрын
That's what I think. Elliott will have a tough time making the 4 without a win. Larson I can easily see winning the championship since he's so good at the track and even Jimmie Johnson you just can't count that guy out. He won it last year with the worst car of the 4. Hendrick has been having a bit more speed here once the playoffs have started.

Martin Truex who didn't win anything for years!
@Southeren7 жыл бұрын
I don't get the hate for MTJ either. Why? He isn't known for having a sour attitude like some others. Is it because he is driving a Toyota? Do you think that he is a "bad guy"? Maybe its because he is dominating this year? Would we rather have it become the Jimmie Johnson show again? I saw someone in the past think that he is full of himself, which is far from the truth. MTJ has always seemed like a super chill and cool guy to me.

And lets also not forget the fact he won two xfinity championship'ss, back to back.

Yeah,and Indy and f1 drivers can't run NASCAR successfully unless their named AJ Foyt or Mario Andretti. Obviously you need a different skill set to get those 3500lb cars around the track and Indy and f1 drivers can't do it. Danica tries but I think the car is too heavy for her to drive the way she wants to drive it. Sometimes she tries to drive like she was back in indy.
