To be fair, he got rushed to cup and put into other rides that werent built around him like Trackhouse is. Daniel is better than his results have shown, he just isnt Carl Edwards or Kurt Busch.

@@indo5359 As far as the NASCAR stat, Daniel was the first Mexico born driver to win in Cup. I don't know much about the other series myself, but it could be common factor. If that's indeed the case, it sounds like Mexico is going to be a force to be reckoned with for racing drivers for a little while

Props to Suarez for that win! Really cool to see, especially when it was legitimately earned (not a rain shortened race, fuel mileage race, etc.). My man drove hard, his team performed, and they get the satisfaction of having beat everyone else to the line on their own merit. Good stuff!

This was a faithed win for Suarez, He had one of the fastest cars here and was driving great, but all the other cars who had the car to win this race all fell off cause of pitroad issues, 9 with botched rear tire change which resulted in a pit penalty, 5 with botched tire change with resulted in tire coming off and penalty, 4 with botched pit stop. 17 had a good car but not as good as the 99. Either way great race from the 99 and a well deserved win!

Sucks for Harvick he has had a rough last couple seasons ever since he got eliminated from the 2020 playoffs. Sucks for that team to go from 9 wins in a season to being winless and having very bad luck while in winning contention. Hopefully that team can finally turn it around and get a win this season with Harvick retiring soon.

Yeah, the single lug nut thing ain't working, so many botched pit stops that sabotage the race for the drivers and way more wheels coming off the tire and rolling around the track.

Center lock wheel?🤔🤔🤔... supposed to make tire changes faster, easier...but tell me...in the entire history of nascar how many wheels have just COME OFF....I guess getting 3 out of 5 lugs was a penalty but I don't remember seeing a wheel come off with 3 out of 5...this season how many wheels have either come off or NOT be able to get removed? Nascar...the center lock wheel is making crews look like idiots. The talent of removing 5and putting on 5 was a skill to be PROUD of,now with the single lug it's WELL D'uh!!! YOU GOT IT RIGHT...D'UH YOU GOT IT WRONG.

Road races have been a part of NASCAR since its inception. Sonoma replaced Riverside in the late 1980s and has been part of the schedule ever since. Not every race is going to be a thriller.
