Thank you Bob. I appreciate you sharing it. I loved this not only because of the message but also the chorus and the dancers. I love seeing the way they showed the dancers partly in slow motion so you could see how they moved in their lovely Pakistani clothing. And I really loved Naseebo and Abida's vocals.

Thanks to Janette for the suggestion, it's so nice to see more people from the west side of the world enjoying Pakistani music! This song was a great place to start, it being the very first episode of season 14, I'd definitely check out the rest of the songs from this season. It's all good vibes :)

This song was so uplifting! Jeanette, thank you for the suggestion. It was interesting to me how there was stillness, motion, and connection in the video. So interesting how the two singers were seated and facing each other. It was like a celebration of the self amidst community, and I found it so fulfilling. Beautiful song, wonderful lyrics.

I loved the highs and lows that where created by their voices... This shows us contrast of life and contrast within just as the contrast in the voices. Personally my most favourite part is where Abida enlaid the most beautiful 2 lines of gold poetry I have ever heard and read... As a Pakistani I am honored that you listened to this and loved it. Stay safe and stay happy. Bless you and those around you.

Hey Bob. I got some Peter Gabriel vibes when all the instruments kicked in. The world music sounds he used. Like in the live version of In You Eyes.

"Tu jhoom" literally means "You sway." In context here it means "You sway in ecstasy." Or in more detail "You should sway in ecstasy." There is another bit of translatation at the end that might do with a better one: At the end when they talk of "Providence's favour" a more direct yet meaningful translation is "Why wouldn't you be proud of being you. " Or "Why wouldn't you be proud of the gifts bestowed by Providence upon you. " Or "Just be proud of who you are" Meaning to appreciate yourself for who you are, rather than be driven by external validation - or lack of.

First: CS perform LIVE. One mistake and you have to go all over again. 2nd the strong voice belongs to Naseebo and the pure/soft voice is of our Queen of Sufism Abida Perveen. 😊😊😊
