Nashville Flood 2010 - Downtown

Kent Harville, corporate visuals specialist at LifeWay Christian Resources and I took our lunch break to shoot video and images. The devastation to downtown alone is staggering. Keep in mind, this is only a fragment of the damage to the Nashville area. Please pray for us as we try to recover from this historic flood.

Great job Jennifer. This really captures the scope of the devastation downtown - a very moody and surreal piece. The story is starting to get out nationally. Fox News is doing live hits today and tomorrow from downtown.

Chris Conder I live in Nashville I was... I think 🤔 7 or 6 at the time my ENTIRE neighborhood flooded well the ditches did and my backyard behind Antioch high school that neighborhood.

Good coverage of such a sad situation. You guys may have the last photos of the red sculpture by the river, I heard it got washed away.

The reason this flooding isn't getting the press attention it deserves is that (unfortunately) there is an even greater disaster unfolding 500 miles farther south, along the Gulf Coast. I'm sure the government is capable of handling both simultaneously, and doing so quite well, but I guess the press seems incapable of covering both.....
