Looks delicious, 100% agree about the vinegar I am going to have to find this seasoning myself next time I'm at Kroger. Good pointer with the spray pam on the funnel, never would have figured to do that!

Annatto was added to make it red, otherwise the spice would have had a brown color. It's an additive to make it look more appealing so that you want to buy it.

Great video and info, but I’ve got to disagree with the flavor. Tastes like hot tree bark. All heat, no other real defined flavor. Even after adding a bit of Meat Church Texas Sugar and a bit of kosher salt, it still isn’t what I was hoping for. 🤷🏻‍♂️

@@ScottHarris794, I have to take back my comment. After a little more doctoring up, I’m actually really enjoying this stuff now. Maybe I wasn’t mixing it up well enough either. I’d be interested to hear your thoughts on other recipes/brands and how they compare to your experiences with traditional Nashville hot sauce. Thanks again for the video and the comment.
