There’s more to a dish than what’s served on a plate. A chef’s food can act as a voice to share a story, whether that be a tale of identity crisis or a struggle to find a place in an established cuisine. Eat Seeker delves deeper into the meaning behind the dishes that represent the chef and looks at what motivates their cuisine.
The husband and wife team behind Biscuit Love in Nashville, Tennessee, are giving the pillowy bread we all know and love an entirely new purpose. Karl and Sarah Worley fulfilled their dream of opening up a food truck in 2012, and once word got out about their phenomenal biscuits, their dedicated fan base of hungry Southerners grew and grew. The irresistible biscuit dough demonstrates versatility as the bread for their world famous hot chicken sandwich called Princess, the dough for their delectable lemon blueberry doughnuts - or, as they call them, Bonuts - and it even serves as a bun for their spectacular version of a cheeseburger dubbed Wash Park.

My GF and I visited Nashville for a long weekend. We’ve traveled a lot so we’ve eaten everywhere. Biscuit Love had, by far, the best fried chicken we’ve ever had. Without question. And the meals were so good we scrapped out plans of trying new places every morning and instead ate there each and every day.

FYI, @2:10 when Karl says he's never seen the back (kitchen) of Prince's, he's talking about Prince's Hot Chicken, the original hot chicken joint in Nashville. That's why he calls his hot chicken biscuit The Princess. Great looking food. 👍
