Edelbrock EFI Bluetooth FIX - Step by step

My Bluetooth on my Edlebrock Pro Flo 4 stopped working!! But, I found the solution and it was really easy.

The problem is found with the tablet.
Step 1: Delete the current E-Tuner App from your tablet or device.
Step 2: Download the most recent version from the Google Play store
Step 3: Go to pairing settings in the E-Tuner App
Step 4: Tap on “Pair ECU”
Step 5: Type in the number after SN, so mine was SN000748 so I typed in “000748”
And that’s it! I love my Edlebrock ProFlo 4 EFI. It has run fantastic on my 1975 Ford Bronco! Let me know if you have any questions.

So I have a 97 k1500 and it’s got the spider injection on it and I can’t stand it. If you have to change the injectors, you have to take the entire intake off including the distributor and just everything it is a nightmare. I’m so glad you do these walk-throughs because I don’t have any mechanical experience newer than that are from the 1970s, it’s all my grandfather and dad knew how to work on and that’s all they did so all this EFI stuff is new to me and from what I’ve seen Edelbrock is way easier to deal with than any of that stuff from Holly. I’ve even had local race, tell me not to even bother bringing it to them because it’s so difficult to do.

I know you no longer have the Fitech, but considering you tinkered with yours for so long I have some question you might be able to answer. My car will start up just fine and run for about 10 sec at a healthy idle with a good AFR. Then the RPM will drop and the AFR will climb to 20. Weird part is the engine acts as if it is flooded. It’ll foul plugs and if I touch the throttle it will die. Sounds like too much gas to me, but the hand held says otherwise. Thoughts?

I would check for exhaust leaks, make sure your O2 sensor is still good, stuff like that. Sounds like your O2 sensor is reading lean and dumping fuel into the system. When your exhaust heats up it could be expanding and allowing fresh air to come in around the O2 sensor causing it to try to compensate with more fuel.

I'm guessing the settings were retained in the unit itself so you didn't have to reprogram it. ??

Yep! They were read off the ECU

When and if I do EFI, I'm gonna pass on the Edelbrock System. Probably going Holley Sniper. I'm not personally a fan of Edelbrock on a good day, and I've heard a lot of gripes about their EFI Units.

I want to try the Sniper, haven’t installed one yet. That said, I’ve been really happy with my Edelbrock.

Good luck with Chinese based holley. They had my Atomic EFI for a year and would not respond until I called the main office.

Actually, this seems to be a widespread issue with the Edelbrock Systems. Literally everyone I know who's installed one, including Eric The Car Guy has had the same issue.
