Edelbrock E-Tuner Easy to use Setup Wizard

Join August Cederstrand as he explains the features and benefits of the Edelbrock Pro-Flo 3 EFI Tablet as well as utilizing the easy to use Setup Wizard. In the video, you say to set timing at 12 degrees bottom dead center. I believe you meant 12 before top dead center. That’s what it said on the screen.

Can you guys do a series on fine tuning once we get it running? I realize it can learn, but I assume we need to be in the ballpark first. A lot of these functions are alien to us non tuner guys. The setup tuner is great, but what next? Theres lots of documentation on each item but having a video demonstation on things like retarding timing for those of us that run crazy dynamic compression ratios and still want to use pump gas. Its so much more comfortable to work with if we can watch a video on that stuff, or trouble shooting. I hate to have to call the tech dept every time I get a little lost. Yous should be making these awesome parts, not dealing with traditional carburator fuel monkies on the phone for an hour at a time lol. Videos please?

What happens when you unhook the battery for the winter? Will the self learn be lost and start over?

What else do you recommend i buy separately if i want the pro flo 4

If you are other than stock and not doing a Pro Flow 4, buy the Pro Flow 4. and you will need a sump. conveniently, Edlebrock does sell one. you can try it with a mechanical being pushed by an electric in line. let me know so I can reassure myself I went the right way with getting a sump. it's PN# 36031, universal fit and comes with everything you need but a heat gun and it will even plug into the EFI and work from there. If you are not using aftermarket manifold bolts you need to check length. 2 of them will have to be shorter than the rest, one driver side, 3rd one back and passenger side 4th one back. I prefer to use new ones all the way around-had to go get the shorter ones. Exhaust manifold gaskets-just in case-had to replace the one for the bung hole side. Get the bung hole installed first. If not possible you can hire Hooker to send you a temporary one to add so you can get it to a muffler shop and then get it welded on. Don't think it's just super super easy because if you are like me, things have to be almost perfect. You get enough wire to mount it anywhere. I chose not to use the tach wire, cut to the chase and hooked it to neg side of coil. Ignition wire (pink wire) is the only one that came up short-added as much as I had to make the circuit. You should have everything else you need.

Is the proflo 3 and 4 wizard set up the same

Very similar. There are more features on the 4. You can not use the 4 on a Pro-Flo 3 system.

when the search turns up the unit there are six numbers that you just copy and paste from it or enter them manually, mine starts out 00####, did that and my phone died. Next day it was the right numbers, AND, really, did you even stop and (I finally did) read the instructions? slow down and read them, it takes less time to do it the right way always.
