Hi you did not mention how much basmati and amount of water . If using Thai frangant rice kindly provide amount of rice , water , coconut milk and salt . Thanks
@themeatmensg3 жыл бұрын
Hello Alice, you can view our full recipe here: themeatmen.sg/nasi-lemak/. We used two cups of basmati and you can use around 3 cups of water, depending how you like your rice to be ( soft/hard). After that, you add in 250ml of coconut milk, 450ml water, 5 knots of pandan leaves, 2 tsp salt (adjust to taste). Hope this helps. (:
@alicetan7573 жыл бұрын
@@themeatmensg Many thanks but how about the amount of salt ? I really like your KZbin Could you also advise the same if I use Thai frangant rice to cook ...the amount of water vs rice and the salt amount too . Take care and stay safe

Update, I've bought all the ingredients except fennel seed powder which i couldnt find it in my state, we do have fennel seeds only, not in powder form, i dont have any processor to make it into powder, can i not use that? And i cant find coconut cream, can i use coconut milk instead? Thanks!
@themeatmensg8 жыл бұрын
yes you can use coconut milk also, for the fennel just crush it with a bottle if you don't have a food processor or grinder
@avengerdarkness84028 жыл бұрын
Thanks! I guess every ingredient is important for a reason. Gonna try this recipe! If i master it, I will promote it to my relatives haha!

@themeatmensg6 жыл бұрын
you can use for other food too, but the seasoning is adjusted to match more for the Nasi lemak. You should be able to store in the fridge for at least 1 week
