Forget about F1. If the average car enthusiast drives a car like this, they will explode. The grip is so insane compared to any road car. The slick tyres and aero make all the difference. I remember my first time in rental go-karts. I was blown away with the grip, especially on turn-in. It's so sudden, at first you don't even expect it. You turn the wheel and before you know it the kerb is coming at you. And that's a kart going at 70kph on a narrow slick tyre. Imagine the feel on a lightweight open-wheeler with actual downforce.

Why didnt you heat up tyres via overheat brakes on the straights? F1 drivers do that when tyres are cold. The heat from brake discs will transfer to tyres and help with temperature. Also increasing toe will help a lot with temperatures.
@wife957110 ай бұрын
1) that technique mainly works because the cars sit on the grid, allowing the heat to transfer from the the brake pads to the carcas of the tyre. 2) f4 cars use an extremely hard compound compared to f1 you heard him talking about tyres having 1,000+ laps on them. it’s not so easy to heat this kind of compound. 3) the f4 brakes do not reach temperatures remotely close to f1 brakes. i’m sure they did everything they could to heat the tyre, but clearly it didn’t work. that’s funny that you think you know more than the f4 team though 😂

Not to be rude but why are you racing in F4 this year at this stage in your career? Seems a little late to make it all the way to F1, is there another series that this could take you to? @@jacob1g because I asked a question?
@wife957110 ай бұрын
@@KZbinWatcher9000not sure if you’re a troll or a child, but yes. because it’s a stupid question. why? nobody gets paid to go motor racing. the pros only get paid out in fractions of the amount of money they have paid throughout their careers to get there, but even that only applies to a handful of series. as most people know, racing in f2 and f3 costs millions of dollars, and the only people who have an actual chance of using those series as platforms to get to f1 are kids who have been in a kart since they could walk and got the seat because of connections, sponsorships, and marketing. as is obvious to everybody except for you, naska is not racing in f4 to try to get to a higher series or something like that. he’s racing in f4 because f4 cars are awesome and this is an amazing opportunity for him to drive in a single seater championship. now, read again what you said. “i love your videos.” are you sure about that bud? cause if you loved his videos, none of this would be news to you. he has explained it detail how much money HE HIMSELF HAS PAID to put together race programs each year. he has also explained what this f4 series is itself. so you lie by pretending to be a fan. it’s not even the regional f4 series you’re thinking of, those are hundreds of thousands of dollars per year and very exclusive in terms of seats. this is an italian series for f4 cars made out of date by the introduction of the halo. it’s an amazing chance for naska to do some awesome high downforce racing. if you think you’re above f4 why don’t you buy your way in and show them how it’s done? yeah that’s what i thought. get real.
@YouTubeWatcher900010 ай бұрын
@@wife9571 just because you know the answer doesn’t make it a stupid question I don’t think I’m above f4. I have no idea where you got that from. I would love to race in f4. I have only been watching for a couple weeks but I have liked the videos I’ve seen. I never said I was a huge fan who’s been watching for years or anything like that. Pro drivers do get paid, that’s what makes them pros isn’t it? The money doesn’t have to come directly from a team, it could be sponsors. If you’re going to race full time you have to get money from somewhere. I didn’t think f4 was popular enough to attract enough sponsors to pay for it and I knew teams didn’t pay. I figured he was paid for Euro NASCAR, was he not? I didn’t know f4 was used for anything other than a junior series so I was confused as to why he would enter a junior series at this stage in his racing career. I did know it’s expensive which is another reason I was questioning his choice to race this series. Most people don’t know anything about any formula series except f1 stop acting like they do. And stop acting like I’m an idiot for not knowing the ins and outs of formula car racing in Europe. I know the only ones that make it f1 are the drivers who start in karts as kids which is why I said it seems a little late to make it to f1. I didn’t actually think he was trying to make it to F1. And btw you could’ve just answered my question, you don’t have to be a dick. Same for @jacob1g. Not everyone knows everything you do, it doesn’t mean you’re more intelligent, just more knowledgeable on this particular subject. You act like this is all common knowledge taught in schools or something. Also, I purposefully said “not to be rude” because I didn’t want it to come off like I was being a troll or criticizing him, it was a genuine question.
@wife957110 ай бұрын
@@KZbinWatcher9000 fair enough. you have to understand that your lack of knowledge made it seem to us that your question was a d@ck-ish question, which is why we respond with that tone. you framed your question as though you expected naska to be racing in f2 or something, so i genuinely thought you were trolling or just being mean. we are very defensive of naska, sorry for showing the teeth. but it seems like you really are just new to this and ignorant to the way things work, which there’s absolutely nothing wrong with. to explain: no, he didn’t get paid for euro nascar. he paid a ton of money to race in that series, and only lost it because he couldn’t pay the same amount of money the other drivers were on testing, tyres, etc so he was less competitive. that’s how all racing is except for f1 or maybe indycar. but, as i said, even then, yes they’re getting paid a personal salary but that’s only because they’ve spent tens or even hundreds of millions of dollars throughout their career to get there, and are likely paying the team through sponsorships (or actual pay-driving) far more than what their salary is. so most would be making that money whether they’re “pro” drivers or not, so the fact that they’re getting paid is kind of irrelevant. that’s why i said “nobody gets paid to go motor racing.” i would suggest watching his other videos, he answers all of your questions in detail. and you’re right, i shouldn’t assume everyone knows these things. i figured most people who watch videos like this do (because most people who comment on other similar channels seem to), and when you said “i love your videos” i assumed you had been watching for awhile but it’s wrong of me to act that way towards a new fan. so sorry for the tone of the response, i hope this one is more helpful for you.
