How deep is the water and how far out do you have to go to see the cool animals?

The water is shallow mostly less than 6 feet. A couple spots got to around 10-15’. Cool animals were right off the beach. Very close to shore.

It is right next to it. Let us know how it is. We were there right after covid restrictions were lifted and it was pretty empty.

Hi! Are there lockers on the beach? If not then where did you leave your belongings?

There were no lockers that we saw. We took all of our valuables in the water with us. When we can’t do that, we use a beach safe. I wouldn’t recommend leaving valuables unattended at Junkanoo.

Where exactly did you go on Junkanoo? Did you walk down far? My husband and I are experienced snorkelers but want to know the best spot.

There are three “piers” at Junkanoo. We were mostly around the second level one. There are also some structures around the area that have stuff. :)

What part of Junkanoo Beach is this? I saw some other Junkanoo Beach snorkeling videos and there were barely any fish or other things to see in those videos.

We were mostly around the middle “pier” that is lined up with crabs n tings and khylas island philosophy on google maps. Basically the eastern portion of the area. Just look for structures in the water for the best spots :).

Pretty shallow. Mostly less than 5-6’
