I'm 35 and most of my friends are married, its just the reality. So I stopped waiting for someone to travel with. Sure traveling with my wife will be better, but I refuse to miss out on life just because I'm single. I usually stay in hostels to save money because I'm traveling alone. Many times that's half the fun! Meeting interesting folks from across the world and sharing the love of God with them! Hang in there Nastasia. I'll say a prayer for you.

Im almost 32 and single and definitely feel you on all of that. 💯♥️it. I am happy being single until the right girl comes along, but sometimes that "clock" thought gets in my head too. I am confident that God has it all worked out, and I trust in him. In the mean time, I'm preparing myself to be the best husband I can be. Thanks for the encouragement!!

The thing is, we think the grass is greener on the other side, regardless of what side that is. We forget to water our own side sometimes and just be content with whatever we have. We will all eventually meet someone we’re happy with, but the waiting is the hardest part. So in that time we should be making the most of single life, until we go onto the other side of the grass.

Almost 22 (Graduating in 2020) and I’m still single. Never had a boyfriend. It’s discouraging and I’m trying to trust God. Because marriage or dating isn’t GUARANTEED. Some days are harder than others. I agree with everything you’re saying, especially with the clock. I’d also add sex drive. Even though I haven’t had sex, I want to sometimes😬 I’m waiting till marriage, but I hope I don’t have to wait till 40.

I am 34 years old and I always hated being asked why I am single or not married. It just feels weird cause you're put on the spot. I don't feel lonely cause I have my nephews and nieces who are fun to be around and it's like they are my children even though they are not. They are truly a blessing to be around. It feels good to hear someone discuss the worst things about singleness because it validates my feelings. I understand that there are many advantages to being single and it is a God-ordained time. However, it is great to validate your feelings about it and understand that it is okay to feel that way. I will be 23 in February and my two best friends are in great relationships (one just got married and I was a bridesmaid and the other is engaged and I will probably be a bridesmaid in hers too). I LOVE them and I am SO happy for them!!! I cried when my bestie walked down the aisle. But...I do have the desire to be in a relationship like them. I want that man in my life. I have been single my whole life (except for two “boyfriends” in middle school that lasted for a week each 🤣) so it does make me kind of upset when I see people nowadays taking advantage of their relationships or not appreciating what they have...because I’ve never had a first kiss, or a first date...at 23 🤦🏼‍♀️😂 I know God has someone out there for me (I don’t think he would let me want it so badly if it wasn’t meant to be) but the waiting is very hard. I have come to terms with it and the future looks bright...and something about 2020 feels like it will be a different kind of year for me. We shall see! Thank you for making this video!

Relating also helps me a lot AND MAN did I relate to this video! I don’t care that I’m single, but the lack of having someone who wants to constantly be with me just because I’m me can be so painful. It makes me feel so lonely. And this bad feeling only worsens because I’m surrounded by a little brother who is in the most healthy, lovingly relationship ever and when he’s in our parent’s house it’s just one big “look at how happy we make each other” show. So avoiding the constant reminder of my want for a partner is most of the time inevitable. Not only that, but the attention is always drawn towards their amazing couple life while I’m sitting here with a creative single life. But who is interested in that when you’re alone, right?

Im 19 and being single is one of the hardest things I’ve ever struggle with for a very long as I got older over time. It’s never a good thing to be single in my view because I’ve never had any dating experience or a girlfriend before. During my time in school, most of the girls love being with men my age who has resources like good cars, good house and etc to take care of their women to buy them whatever they want.

Even though I myself as a heterosexual man am single and sometimes it maybe lonely but at least you get to have so much fun plus you don’t have to work for anyone whether you are a female or a male whether you are gay or straight. You would have more freedom, more fun, less pain, less worries and you don’t have to feel guilty of letting your partner, your spouse and your kids down. I have no problem when people are in a relationship and they get married & have kids because to me that is a serious lifestyle. Marriage to me is a traditional lifestyle because it takes a lot of compassion, courage, discipline, hard-work, love, loyalty and tolerance to be with your spouse whether if it’s your husband or your wife to keep your marriage healthy especially for your children. In my honest opinion I would rather be single for the rest of my life to the time I die rather than going through adultery, a breakup, a divorce and losing custody of my kids because it is so depressing plus painful. In my world it is better to feel safe than sorry period.

I’m 32 years old never been married or even engaged. It gets really hard for me when I come home and I don’t have anybody asking me out on dates or even thinking about me. I feel even more rejected because I am black and a Christian. It’s hard my last boyfriend really hurt me by not being consistent. I had to get off Instagram and also the dating sites. I just wasn’t getting what I was desiring. I have been single for 6 years. I feel like I’m not pretty enough or even good enough. I have had guys reject me so I have stopped putting myself out there. I don’t know what I am doing wrong. I am so used to not having the long term relationship I haven’t even introduced my parents to anybody. I feel hopeless. I feel like God doesn’t have anybody for me at all.

Hello Nastasia and everyone, Truth for me, seeing other people in relationships (friends, family, strangers, etc.) and watching romantic movies seems to hit me the hardest when being single. I so badly want to be in love and know who my future husband will be (if it is God's plan for me). As a late teen girl, I know most others like me feel the same way and probably think about your future husband constantly or wish so badly to have a boyfriend. Being single makes you sometimes feel unimportant and lonely. All my advice is to everyone who reads this is to remember that God's love is the greatest and he deeply loves you, even more than any human being on this earth can. Also, pray to God and ask to watch over and lead your future spouse to you when it is time (If you have one). Please remember that. I know it's hard to feel that way but it's true.

If somebody said "We're going to find someone for you !", I'd LOVE that ! If I'm hungry, get me a plate of food ! If I'm unattached, find me a girlfriend ! Life's a bummer without a girlfriend ! When I'm single, I'm learning that I can't be happy without a girlfriend, and God's teaching me that I can't be happy without a girlfriend . When you'r single, your friends and relatives are too busy for you . When a woman gets older, it's harder for her to have a normal intelligent baby . If you stay single for too long, you get spoiled by the single life and you'll resent your romantic partner . Maybe God's trying to give you something you can't be happy with .
