The vent is standard on the C5 Z06, those are rear brake cooler vents. The have a duct system on the inside of the quarter that directs fresh air directly on the rear brakes

Something you don't need to do unless your car is from before the early 50s or you're driving a big rig. Press clutch in once, move shifter to neutral, release clutch to spin transmission input shaft back up to speed, press clutch and shift into desired gear. If your transmission doesn't have synchros, you have to match the input shaft speed manually.

@HUArmyLife Actually, clutch dropping from a stand still is far worse. Putting the non rolling weight into the scenerio means a blown clutch. While rolling takes a lot of the stress off the clutch because the mass of the vehicle is already in motion.

High-mileage Z's are 15-20 in my area... by high mileage i mean 100 to 150 k on original trans and motor, but clutch replaced and spark plugs as well.
