The amount of IAP items is a bit concerning but we haven't seen anything added to the Ultimate Reward section, or items that are IGC but season exclusive (like the prince sword pants, aurora green outfit and the like), we have seen IAPs change a lot in the past. Besides traveling spirits and seasonal spirits, the only way I'm able to earn hearts is by lighting friends candles, the fact you can't even talk about setting up friend heart trades without threat of being banned on Dischord is ridiculous. If ThatGreedCompany wants money so bad, they would gain major profit by offering IAP heart bundles like with the candles.

There’s a lot behind the scenes we simply just do not know and won’t until Moomin is a live season. I’m upset as a moth of this year & a full time student at how expensive things are as both IAPs & IGC (I don’t have time to cr since summer ended) but there’s really nothing I can do either.

I consider myself very lucky that I have a friend I play with daily, and usually she will carry me through it all (Of course, I return the gesture as well). there's a saying my grandma uses all the time: "a cow will give a good bucket of milk, then turn around and kick it over." tgc had the event currency down to a science. the system was perfect. it was actually fun getting to explore the event area while looking for little tickets to pluck from the highest or lowest of places. but now they've gone and ruined it by making us collect tickets like we collect candles. candle running is stressful enough, but *ticket running*? i genuinely hope people leave feedback in the beta channel about this because it's frankly ridiculous.

I usually don't complain about the iap stuff, but that's too many iap for one season. I knew because this is a colab. season there would be additional optional iaps, but holy-moly, my flabbers and gasted😂. Also, this new method of collecting event wax one little drop at a time is so infuriating and feels like a punishment for the player. Why not give us event currency for anything interactible in the seasonal area? Like days of light/summer right now, if you interact with a spirit or complete an event task, you get 1 event currency for each thing. Then, you could also still have an option to collect the bits of event wax if you want. I really hope TGC listens to their beta discord feedback and addresses these issues.

just remember to take your time and don't give in to the feeling of FOMO. don't push yourself too much trying to keep up with the game, your health is more important. the fear of missing out(FOMO) is the main reason people(especially newer players) feel they can't take much of a break, but it genuinely is better to go at your own pace in sky, even if it means missing some items. don't pressure yourself to go at the pace of a company

Trying to avoid commenting about the feeling tgc is evoking in regards to the upcoming season so I'm going to say I'm really disappointed no rides on the dragon/krill this year. Really wish they would give us more, better, f2p items. The amount of money they demand people spend for basically nothing is grotesque. Single items that really aren't worth anything cost as much as an entire game or close to it (not including the stupid price for something like an orange on your head or ear decorations). Collab seasons are always puzzling to me in relation to the amount of iap's. In season of aurora, everything that refereced Aurora herself was iap or limited to the season, the aurora spirits are only related to her very vaguely and by their names "warrior of love" and etc. In Little prince, the cosmetics that DO return are also not distinctively little prince-y iyk what I mean, nine colored deer is unclear to me bc I was told it is inspired by a movie and I never watched it lol I assume not many IPs are okay with granting tgc the right to have these itens in game for perpetuity, but I wonder if it's gonna be different this time, I hope it is

I plan on skipping this season, but I feel bad for all the people who were looking forward to it and are now realizing they won’t be able to afford all the items they wanted. Even if some of them get moved to the quest tree, there’s enough of other issues with the costs and IAP/IGC distribution. I think the event currency is fine as is. The problem with the event currency is that you have a bunch of left over currency that doesn’t amount to anything so the motivation to deal with it after you get your items is nill. I know that they do that so that people don’t have to farm every day of the event to get the cosmetics. What they should do is make them exchangeable for like a 1/10 th of a regular candle.

TGC still seems to be stuck in the delusion that millions of players are playing Sky, when in truth the game has less and less active players. I started playing 3 years ago and still love Sky, but I'm neutral enough to take a step back and see that this is a problem. Hey, I'm not a beta player so I cant personally test the broom right now, but the odds are good that it was veering and that was *because* you flipped the camera. You've been playing way longer than me so you've probaly noriced by now, the camera/cursor, etc is not 1 to 1 with your character model on the screen. When you're snowboarding this is actually tremendously useful, because you can force the camera to pan more sharply than the animation for turning normally allows.

This is high key ridiculous 😭😭, I am NOT buying this season pass even though this is such an adorable theme when half of what I want is behind a paywall. Tgc is so money hungry like bfr, most of the most wanted items are gonna cost a fortune and how many people use their nest on a daily basis? Why r there so many furniture items 😭 we live for the outfits

"Tgc must pay their workers, this is a free game..." well then, how do another games exist, huh? If they cared about community, wanted to create something beautiful tgc would not do what they do. There are games out there without any micro transactions ran on pure enthusiasm, which keep updating to this day. There are a lot of games, a history full of these games, where micro transactions exist, and they have fairly adequate prices, lots of free stuff and you can get currency and some expensive stuff if you really want to. And it won't be that exhausting as it is in sky with just 1 cape or hair, or mask... well, you get it.

Funny enough I've been saying the same thing a lot- I've been listening to a lot of songs that just remind me of some sort of formal or masquerade ball- which could low-key be pretty cute considering skykids have masks anyway 🤭 I would honestly love to be able to dance with my friends and just random players, would make some pretty interesting memories and recordings lol

As much of a moomin fan I am, there's no chance I'm buying anything outside of seasonpass. I'm a student with a limited budget, I wish they'd have some sense in pricing these things
