Can you fuel two engines with Quantum Entanglement?

Ok, a quantum perpetumobile? But how much energy needs the cooling? Interesting research anyway.

Can AI do quantum measurements without collapsing the wave function? If it can, is that proof that AI is not conscious?

No. Any macroscopic object will collapse a quantum system when it measures it. This includes tiny air molecules so would include any computer you ever wanted to build

@@edwinagnew6800 That seems to be a theory that is not observable, right? How do you confirm, without observations, any theory that claims to collapse the wave function without observation? Isn't such a theory unobservably unfalsifiable by definition?

@@mikejurney9102 I think the following experiment would work. Take some system starting at A at t_0 and evolve it to B at t_1 and C at t_2 and measure. Now repeat but after evolving it to B have some macroscopic interaction and then evolve to C then measure. These two should have different measurement statistics because the decoherence in the middle of the second experiment is physically detectable. Happy?

@@edwinagnew6800 Yes, I think you are right, but I don't know what your point is. You're saying that the measurement in the middle or not effects the measurement at the end, right? So what, then? What does this say about theories that disallow measurement from a conscious being?
@edwinagnew680011 ай бұрын
Imagining for an instant that quantum measurement can only occur through conscious interaction, I still don't think we could test the consciousness of AI using this. Wouldnt you have to effectively measure the AI to see what intervention it did, thus inevitably collapsing it anyway?
