Natalia Lebedeva - 1989 World Championships Long Program

Natalia Lebedeva was still within striking distance of the podium after a 3rd place finish in figures and a 4th place finish in the original program. Unfortunately, this long program from the 1989 World Figure Skating Championships only placed 8th in the segment, dropping her to 5th overall.

I personally this she portrays Odile quite well in this program, although I do agree with the statement that she had flat affect. I also think this is one of the better choreographed women's free programs.

This program has so many flat spots in it and poor choregraphy. If you chose Swan Lake, you better skate like a swan and not a giraffe
